| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Lol, we get the adaptation of the video game one shot in this episode. Lmao, Gin saying that Bandai Namco worked hard for this anime that doesn’t have any special moves. This episode really changed up the chapter’s content so that it could match up with Gintama Rumble that comes out in January. The manga advertised Gintama Sugoroku instead. Lol, this episode was really blunt when it came to the characters trashing on the Gintama franchise. Sometimes I wonder if Gintama’s trying to promote their game, or if it’s the other way around! XD Lol, Gintoki, Kagura and Tama are trying to edit the game before release. Lol, they changed the title to put it part of the Tales of series. Lmao, they’re just riding on Lloyd and Cress’ popularity. Lol, S or M and they’re only choosing M. Lol, Shinpachi’s glasses is an NPC. Madao as a monster, I’m dead! There’s more corpses in the party than active members. Tales of Super Madao Bros, lol. Ah man, moments like these are stuff that only Gintama can give me XD And we get a bit of the first chapter of the Guardian Spirits arc adapted in this episode. Shinpchi’s new glasses are a nightmare. Everyone’s got a stand spirit behind their backs. Gin’s spirit, lol it’s more than just a “Silver Soul”. Lol, the spirit does everything for Gin. It’s just a spirit of an eraser! And Kagura’s spirit is just a drunk Pikachu, lmao. The spirit is the one saying “aru”! Lol, the Kabuki-cho festival looks like a nightmare. Easily the best episode from this season. And the 8-bit OST remix in the first half was awesome! Also, this is already one of my personal favorite episodes from Gintama. Next episode should be a blast! 5/5 |

Since it's too late, they decided to skip it. I'm still hoping for an OVA or something. | That was freaking glorious shit, hilarious episode all round, I was laughing so much. They saved the best for last I see. XDD All those shots on Bandai Namco, Gintoki gives no shit. XD I love how they brought in the Tale of series and used that, NEET status effect OP. XD The guardian spirit stuff was also so damn funny, the truth of Gintama's eccentricities all revealed. XDD |

Honestly Gintama has been reusing a lot of soundtracks from previous seasons in the Rakuyou and Slip Arc, it's just getting repetitive at this point. It's not that they are bad, just have been almost severely abused. The first half was a pleasant surprise since they managed to degrade one of the soundtracks to 8-bit. NEET virus might just be the best/worst status effect in a game. Since they made a lot of Tales reference it was totally relatable to me. It was a really fun first half and one of the best this season TBH. Second half just gave me vibes of the Soba Shop owner arc. Also Gin's guardian spirit is badass. |

| gintoki's guardian made so much sense :)) i was laughing seeing it and thinking back to all those bloody fights he had and how he miraculously survived from time to time. omg his screams when he was stuck in the toilet :))) he half died cause of the trauma of having no toilet paper and walked the dog lmao. i was looking forward to see kagura's guardian i thought it'd be 10 times bigger than gintoki's. oh well, that's gintama surprise. that huge thing being actually a vengeance spirit was another twist. poor gintoki has been having constipation his whole life cause of this :))) so i was listening to gintama 2015 OST and i just realized something. no body knows about gintoki's back except for katsura and takasugi. no one knows what he went through. the only person whom he ever mentioned this to was hijikata. wow. |

| The game segment was comedy gold. I would definitely buy that game, it was a glorious piece of clusterfuck. It seems that the CEO approved the game too. Hasegawa got the short end of the stick, as always. NEET is scary. Guardian Spirit segment was promising, particularly as Gintoki's guardian made its appearance. Sugita did a fine job conveying the terror of having no toilet paper. Shinpachi's expression as he laid his eyes on the guardian spirit was sublime as well. |
