| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Pretty talky episode, not even much diving this time. Honestly, I thought this episode was pretty dull even comparing to the rest. It feels like it's putting much more emphasis on the characters rather than what they're doing. At least Youichi is doing better now since his injury. |

| Organic restaurant date w. the coach? He just says his plan for the next dive and thank her for the help. Main guy meeting the friend who dropped diving, he's doing basketball now. Fun talk. Everyone has various feelings about the next dive and about female coach leaving. The main coach who wanted to save MDC told his son the truth that he's leaving as an alternative and go elsewhere for responsibility. Sakurai-san's character felt guilty for his decision if no one wins. It seems like what was told affects Sakurai-san's character as he doesn't dive well. Or Fever? One more ep. airing 25:25. |

| I was about to say that this show pulled a bigger ''Battery'' ending than Battery itself, glad that it has another episode. I'm actually interested who will make it to the Olympics, could be anyone at this point. Like how they made hard to predict. The character focus on almost everyone here was pretty nice, the show is a character study after all. |

Battery is a show by the same studio, also a novel adaptation where the ending was not even an ending, it just stopped randomly. |
| Looks like all the guys want the coach to stay, that's nice. :) Yoichi went all out in practice and now he's burnt out for the actual thing, kinda felt more like plot convenience to be honest. Glad there's one more episode cause if it had ended with this episode that would've been real crappy. |

| :( I have the feeling it gets even worse with every episode @@ I was actually really hoping that it only has 11 episodes just to see another one has been added... I'm also so very lost (probably in translation ;) ) with what is actually going on. There is so much back and forth on "who is going when to the Olympics" and every time I thought I got it, something else happens so that apparently it is still open to discussion?...I'm giving up |
| I thought this episode will be the last. Hory shet. Still can't fathom that Tomo's friend quit swimming just because he's not chosen to represent MDC. Kinda a dick move, but heck it's his life. I just thought it's a very immature move from him after those years of him leading their group (the three of them), and just because he's not chosen, he decided to quit? Forfucksake. Idk anymore. Youichi, please be okay, though I know he's not since he's got a fever. :/ |
