Why no anime adaptation yet?

Hinomaruzumou is one of Shonen Jumps most popular manga, so I'm surprised to see it not get an anime yet. Been 3 years. Is there any particular reason why?

They must be waiting for it to build up more chapters so they can do a long adaptation without resorting to filler after a while.
Toei will most likely do the anime.

It's just a matter of time. It is a Shounen Jump manga that has been publishing for three years. I predict a Spring 2018 start.

Black Clover is a bigger money maker than Hinomaruzumo. It just isn't a priority for Shueisha. It's still in the magazine, it will happen eventually. It took Saiki four years to get an anime, while World Trigger and My Hero Academia got an anime in under two years.
