| That depends of the time or type of world, that the story takes place in. God Eater takes place in a scientifically advanced world so they most likely know, that the world is round. The people in SnK know next to nothing about the outside world, so they probably don't know about it. Plus they have bigger things (literally) to worry about. |

| Why do you even think the world of every anime from the start is round? Eventhou anime never specifically say the world is round or to everyone its comman sense for the world to be round, it doesn't mean that world is round. |

| What gave you the impression that they didn't? Modern setting: Yes they know because it is common knowledge. Historical setting: The knowledge of a round Earth has been a thing since the Ancient Greeks. Whether or not, the common person knows is something I can't answer. Future setting: If we know now, we should definitely still know in the future especially if space travel is a thing. Fantasy: Earth is not a thing in this universe why should they know anything about it. |
