| this da type of episode I am in love with! I do wish there's more of a discussion in that discussion room with Smith, Bou and the other guys though when the match was live. Reminded me a lot of Hikaru no Go and that's such a nice feelings, there's just something about shogi and Go (board game) that do not require rivals to actually be antagonistic to each other.. they talk to each other, talk about the game together, share strategy, etc. It's like a feels good friendly rivals sort of thing, it's nice. though I hope Gotou is not hitting dat Kyoko cheeks though, 10+ years age gap in romance/sexual relationship is really not my thing, if Gotou was 15 years younger then maybe, though it would still considered cheating and that's a shitty thing to do. I guess, at the very least, Gotou is not flaunting that shit if he indeed has done the deed, so far he's only using it to provoke Kiriyama and didn't try to shame Kyoko's dad. I hope Kiriyama joins Shimada/Bou's study session soon, I need ma boi to get better. Right now he's damn weak and he's wasting his time away. He probably still doesn't love shogi like plenty other people do, but he's got his motivation to get better now, whether that's the right motivation or not. |

| Interesting talk between Kyouko and Rei there.. In the end.. I think both of them should decide, what they want in life.. Not be driven by hurt or shame.. But by what they actually want.. Not like it's easy to do or anything.. Just that it could be one of ways, if they don't see one.. Now it seems that Rei had some plan, and followed it.. And Kyouko had one.. Both of them had somewhat dangerous plans.. But Kyouko's even more so.. And what she wants is quite questionable.. But only she herself can decide what she wants.. I'm not too sure, if this is what she wants, though.. But who knows.. |

| Kyouko is generally unlikable but especially with this episode you can see why she acts the way she does. The match between Gotou and Shimada with the lightning and stuff was pretty funny and I'm glad Shimada won. We haven't seen the sisters in a while tho :( |
