Am I the only one not looking forward to this?

Now let me just say, I don't hate this anime, but I just really couldn't get into this. The story felt like I've heard before, I only liked 1 character at the end of this, and I just didn't really enjoy this.

I will give the second a try, but I won't watch it right away.

So am I the only one who feel's this way or am I the only one?

Na you're not the only one

I did kinda enjoy Konosuba, but I don't care that much about it getting a season 2.

It did make me crack a few smiles, but it's not hilarious like alot of people say

Of course you're not the only one .
I thought it was a good (7/10) anime. It's nothing special . The comedy was good but again nothing great . Also i never understood what's so great about megumin lol . However, i wouldn't mind a second season and will most probably watch it .

I thought it was befitting of its comedy tag, but it wasn't as funny as some say.

Maybe a second season is a chance to redeem themselves.

The thing about comedy is that there are many different type of humor, so what some people find hilarious others might get bored with.

I thought Kono Suba was really funny, so I ended up liking a lot of its characters and their gags.

It shouldn't be surprising that there would be other people who didn't find it as funny, and therefor didn't care for the characters or anything.

Well some of the jokes were funny, it's just they got old. Like Aqua and Darkness were just terrible. They're jokes just got old and I just didn't really like them that much.

Just like OPM, Konosuba has a "you love or you hate it" kinda thing going, so ur nothing special.
Im not sure why this thread exists tho, you could make one about just about any sequel or series u dont like. Its quite retarded infact

Eh you're not the only one (at least as far as I noticed that people agree with you).

Then again, comedy is more of a subjective term, so whatever people find it funny, some people won't find it funny, and vise versa. It all comes down if they actually enjoy the humor.

I just wanted to see if anyone else felt the same way I did. Maybe someone could explain to me why some consider it a good anime. That's all this is about.

Watch it right away, seriously. While not everyone will like it, the novels become better as they go along, because the characters all develop while not changing their personalities.

We should get to the "Village of Trolls", and that will be worth the price of admission. I am saying this as someone for whom the first season ended on a sour note. I then read the novels and realized that this was because they rushed through some stuff because they didn't know there would be a second season so soon.

As a side note to the novel readers, if Studio Deen is smart (and they can be), I think the first episode could be "Party Swap": it would be the best at re-establishing the characters. If that happens this season will be awesome because that means the adapter has a brain, but I will settle for what we know will happen: the proper introduction of YunYun - while the former would be brilliant, at least the adapters were smart enough to reset the latter.

Edit: Though it would need a season 3 or even 4, I really do want to learn the lesson of why avoiding heat stroke is so important. With my eyes that is.....

More like they didn't think it would do good. I mean only giving it 10 episodes and not so stellar production values, they probably didn't expect the success it did get in Japan

There's no way Deen will fuck up the second season of this series. Remember Log Horizon?

It'll never live up to the first half of Konosuba. The personalities of the females are so damn repetitive and one-dimensional by the end of season 1 that it'll be a bit hard to make them work now. Plus, I heard Aqua becomes even more hateful than before. Plus, the comedy grew repetitive in the second half of season 1, so they really need to come up with more jokes this time around, which, for a sequel, ain't always easy.
