| Interesting yet disjointed and random at times. I wonder if magic bus narrative is somehow inherent to Japanese culture. The whole fairytale-like tone and dreamy atmosphere hinted that it was based on something. |

| Our favorite little fox is back once again, this time he needed to bring Shinobu to his teacher for a school assignment, and I gotta say I was kinda looking forward to the teacher’s reaction to the fox bringing Shinobu there but the reveal at the end that he forgot about the assignment was a bit of a let down lol, but I did really enjoy the rest of the episode, it was kinda trippy sometimes too with Sanshiro the scarecrow and the magic bus ride which I appreciated. And from the looks of it there were a lot of references in this one too which was nice to see, I wish newer anime would directly reference stuff like this more often lol. |
