THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.
Despite the lack of Nagi in this episode. It was still pretty awesome with so much Hinagiku in a cute outfit. From the looks of it, its still pretty unclear how the show will end.
References: Da Capo?(Hina under the sakura tree scene), Zoids, and maybe a very very vague or unintentional reference to clannad.

I reciprocate your feelings there. The Maria and Nagi centered episodes were much more better in terms of comedy. But it wasn't that bad, just your average tsundere love plot, with some lite comedy.
I for one hate Tsundere female characters, but Hina is an exception to this rule! Her TsunTsun moments are actually quite hilarious and well justified (who the hell tells a girl that she's not girly?) and her DereDere moments are made of moe~!
While I would usually root for a down-to-earth character like Maria, Hina just has a certain charm that captivates the audience...but that's just me =P
hinagiku moeness overload here. best episode ever. due to hinagiku.
the episode couldnt have been better. bits of comedy, bits of romance, bits of light-hearted moments. hina x hayate.
now we all know that hina has fallen for hayate
on a side note: hinagiku's birthday is the same as me =D
also, insert, power of flower = win
