| Nah man, romance is one of my preferred genres and I feel little else but joy when watching them. Maybe because I'm a puss who gets all excited over sweet stuff like that instead of watching them to compensate for my own lack of relationship. Not trying to be sound insulting, but I don't really see any reason to feel lonesome when watching a romance anime unless you're doing it to compensate like that. |

| If you're single and you view a romance anime where you don't feel lonely, that's probably for a few reasons. My reasoning is that the romance sucked. I don't feel lonely if the romance I'm watching is god awful with no chemistry in it. Nobody wants that. A good romance doesn't make me feel lonely, but more or less makes me feel like I need to go out and talk to females more. |

| I'm watching nana right now. It doesn't make me lonely but it can reactive old memories from past experiences in my life. It gives me memories of either things I could have done to make a situation better. It also makes me reminice on old relationships and sometimes have good feels or miss certain things. I don't really think I feel lonely though lol. I'm normally just thinking about the characters not about my life. Making connections with the show comes after I'm done. Maybe I just watched 3 episodes and now about to go to bed. I'll think about my own life compared to it in that situation. Oh yeah this only happens with really really good romances not shitty shows.
