| A little bit. Most of my friends are "normals" so they scoff at anime. I've never really been able to talk about anime in public out of sheer embarassment. MAL lets me talk about anime liberally so it's a pretty neat addition to my daily life. |

| It totally has. Now I remember which anime/manga I am on. Not only that, but it helps me remember which amime/manga series I have finished. I tend to forget that most of the time. |

Just to find anime/manga, and maybe go on the forums when I'm bored at school or something. It's just another one of those activities that I can waste my free time on. Anime has just replaced my video game time ever since I've found out that I can organize my stuff here so easily.. I can't say that MAL has been lifechanging, but it's helped me become more organized with my anime. |

| Well, seeing some of the forum postings has made me dumber, that's for sure. It's true that MAL has kind of become my internet hangout. I don't 'do' the whole social networking thing, but MAL being a social networking site with anime/manga as the focus made me make an account. Whenever I watch an anime or read a manga nowadays, I grade it in my mind as I watch it. I'll be thinking, "It's 8/10 quality now, but it may drop to 7/10 later. SHOULD I GO WITH 8/10 NOW OR 7/10 IT!?" |
| I doubt I can proclaim that it has changed my life, but it certainly has had some impact on me. For example, I always look forward to going online to access MAL. |
