As I watched the trailer of the upcoming animes this winter or as I watched the anime series of this ending season, I kinda get "bored in the middle" of it ..BUT its not like because i want to ,,it seems like when i start watching some anime (i wont name it coz some may get hurt if I Badmouth hes/her fav series) im not enjoying it anymore or its like "hmm so predictable" "hmmm so typical" "hmmm soo plain" in my mind ..something like that . and currently im enjoying reading LN/WN and manga rather than watching anime .not trying to be rude to anime fans out there just want to know if this happens to you too? and also wondering why did this suddenly happen to me ..thanks for reading my thread! :)

It's just a little phase, I've had them. You can watch less or just do something else entirely to cool down for awhile.

I didn't watch anime for like a month in the recent one. The first one was for like 5 months.

Yep went through that, when I finally realized that most anime is is a festering cliched fanservice cesspool, I quickly stopped watching.

I mainly read manga and watch popular tv series (game of thrones) and movies and the occasional anime that isn't shit.

Not really, the game has two routes. One that's dark and grim and one that's laidback and light hearted. It's a well written game with comedy that is perfectly done and a few feels moments here and there.

Yeah,so am I.

I will probably drop the anime once I reach the 300 completed mark.

Maaaybe with the exception of Monogatari series.
Or potential Umineko adaptation.

your thread is like half a paragraph and you can't go 2 words without making a spelling error or grammatical mistake... I certainly hope English isn't your first language.

Anyway loosing interest in anime, like losing interest in anything else is perfectly normal and happens to everyone, some more than others.

My friend was a pretty big otaku. He was obsessed with anime like me, but then after summer he just didn't like it anymore. He honestly hates it now; whenever I bring it up he usually dismisses it.

His excuse is " It's all the same." I agree with him, and I told him to watch the only different anime I could think of : Steins;Gate. Fortunately I only got him to do this through rps so.

everyone reaches that stage of enlightenment when you realize almost all anime is identical.
I lost interest like 2 years ago and only watch a series if it catches my eye.

you know its time to quite when you see the same purple/blue haired cold hearted character, big titted pink haired glasses girl, flat chested tiny tsundere and gormless MC go to the beach for the millionth time.

I really hope your list isn't up-to-date. 6 days watched seems a bit light to play the vet.

I can't pay attention with anime anymore, to the point where some of the stuff I watch probably is good but I just can't be bothered to continue.

It isn't I rarely touch my list. First anime I watched was still on some shitty old VHS tapes when you had to rent them, I just don't care about keeping anything up to date. I forget most of the time what Ive even watched over the years. I remember watching Dominion Tank Police early on.

Stop watching it for a while, simple as that. Don't force yourself to watch something you're no longer interested in, there are better things you could do in that time. Start watching western television, reading books, or keep reading light-novels.

Maybe you'll feel interested in anime again at some point in the future, maybe you won't. Either way, that's okay.

It happens, happened to me when I got a job, lasted months... Got busy and sleep and gaming was more appealing at the time.

It's all good to take breaks, then when you return you feel refreshed. Then again it depends on the person.

I was in the anime manga phase when I was like from 13 to 15. Then I got more into my academics and a job and then university life. When I was into anime/manga, I joined this website in 2008 when I was 13. I'm 20 now and I completely forgot I had a anime phase when I was younger and came back on this website. Anime isn't as appealing to me as it use to be. I'm more into gaming, sports and my future career. I'm more into going out and making friends and having a good time because when I was stuck watching anime or reading manga, I didn't socialize as much. It's okay if you don't really have interest in anime. Sitting all day watching a tv show gets harder to do alone.
