| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- With the scar on Redril's back I'm guessing this is not time related but rather alternate universe related as else they wouldn't have such a similar scar/outfit and even the gun even though there are obvious changes it would explain some points. The backstory of Redril sure was dramatic as well but I do prefer the one from Tetsurou as that's more melodramatic if you ask me. The mystery around the conductors body does seem quite interesting as well and how they were completely invisible without even casting a shadow makes me wonder what kind of entity he/they are actually. In general this was also quite an interesting planet that had some interesting story attached to it but well either way another great episode and with 3 more episodes remaining, I'm really looking forward to see what will happen next. |

| Finally an episode with an interesting moral message |
| Hope in cyborgs was finally restored. This episode came last minute xD And yeah the end is near. But I could swear there was an episode where Maetel offered Tetsuro to stay with her on another Planet where life would be nice(I know the continuity and conistency in this series is top tier) Perhaps they will stay together if Tetsuro ends up deciding against a mecha body? She could've been looking for a boyshotalike that 👀 On a different note. It's crazy to think how many planets must've perished on all of Maetel's journeys just because she's trying to teach boys about what matters in life. |

| It was very sad to realize that somehow Tetsurou and Maetel's path will end one day. |
| So, we see cyborgs shown in a positive light, which is rare in this show. The journey is nearing its end. What will happen to Tetsurou once he reaches his destination? |
