If you're literally penniless in a 3rd world country and starving to death , not quite sure how you can be happy in that situation.

Even if you are very poor in a 1st world country, if you have no family members or friends to lean on to at least partially support you , you could very easily be homeless and be in a very shitty situation

But nonetheless, you look down on lower class people. It's to the point that you wouldn't date a guy who made a working class wage, even if he worked 40 hours a week.

Your family has raised you to expect too much in life.

i am lower class people lol. wat? i'm in debt for 30k for college funds, like i've said before and only one of my parents has a legit job right now, since my other parent is hospitalized

i don't want to be scared of being bankrupt each day

why are you trying to make me feel bad for having higher standards than you?

It depends on what you mean by not having much money.
My ideal lifestyle is one where I have all of my necessities, pay my bills and have a tiny bit leftover for pleasure (like going to a restaurant with my partner or buying myself a new book that I really want).

So if you mean not much in the sense that you do not live in luxury but have enough to get by, then obviously my answer would be yes.

If you mean I wouldn't have enough money to cover my bills and buy my necessities, then the obvious answer is no. Paying your bills and putting food on the table is something that you have to do. Not having enough money to do that is terrible.

her family has raised her to strive for more instead of simply settling for less. it's a very good thing to teach your child in a society where poverty is linked with increased risk for a fuckload of diseases purely because of all the stress lower class people are forced to experience in an environment created to accommodate those who have money.
it might not be the case in your village of 500 people where everyone knows each other and all's fine and dandy, but it is the case in most of the world

Or maybe, maybe it's our nowhere towns or our nothing places
But we're trash, you and me

Just trash, me and you

If you won't date anyone who's at risk of becoming unemployed you're gonna have a hard time. Even the CEOs of major companies live with that risk. One mistake and you're out.

At least they have a diploma.

Don't worry, I won't be "running out" of options.

And just to clarify, I'm also aiming highly for my own career. By no means am I trying to find someone to leech off of. I want someone who has an equal diploma or higher. Ideal would be the same level obviously.

Anyone, regardless of their income, can be fired.

You don't need university to get a successful job. A community college degree can do the same, and is the ONLY option for most of us lower class people.

Have you ever considered trying another area of Canada?

Smaller places may have less businesses, but they also have less competition.
