| Could I have k? Last online was 5 years ago, last list update was 7 years ago. If one letters are not allowed for whatever reason, then could I have vampire? Last online was about 6 months ago, but the bio says "moved" insinuating that the owner switched profiles. Therefore, they are illegitimately holding the username. |

| Requests done. @Vampire: Usernames have to be at least 2 characters long (technical restriction). I don't know how this user could get the name "k", maybe you could somehow bypass the restriction in the past but now this shouldn't be possible anymore and I can't give anyone one character usernames if the restriction says at least 2 characters. @bakanonbaka: You can only request a username if you've been active on the site for at least 3 months, so you still need to wait a bit until you can request a name. |

| Requests done. @Tsuchio: The account has too many list entries to fall under the 2+ years rule. Even if the last list update was longer ago, it's the last login date that counts because users can use their account for other things too. @stillapeep: The account has too many list entries to fall under the 2+ years rule. @elevenletters: Can be several things, for example someone who was very active on the forum. @bakanonbaka: Many other people ask nicely too ;) If I gave everyone a nick before the 3 months mark then it would make the rule quite useless. And we have the rule for a good reason, to avoid new people taking names but not staying on the site for long, or people making alt accounts to block names. Since a lot of new people request names without reading the rules I'm not reserving them because it is quite some effort to keep an overview of what has been requested and it would encourage even more new people to reserve names. |
