| When I am stressed out at work I tend to get angry at people but cant express it there. So when I go home I want some alone time to calm down but usually I get calls from my parents or friends ( or they come over since i live alone ) and keep nagging me whats wrong whats wrong and I usually shout at them (which I regret later) They just cant seem to understand the word can you leave me alone for some time . I dont like talking about my problems with others ( i usually dont talk much at all ) but lately they dont back off. I mean ok I know they are worried but sometimes that makes things worse. |

| Ignore the phone and the doorbell during those moments. People will learn to call ahead before they visit and you can always check the phone to see who is calling before you decide if you want to answer or not. And no, this is not rude. At least I do not consider it so. |

| It happens to me sometimes. Tell them, but in a calm voice that yes you're stressed out and feel like shit. Talking about it won't help you know though. What will help you is that they'll give you some peace and quiet. They don't nag you out of malice. Show them that leaving you alone will calm them down and, if they're rational, they'll let you go. |

| I'm exactly the same as you. it can be frustrating, but the best thing to do is getting people to understand you need some space. Sometimes people dont really understand that its easier for you to solve your stress and problems alone. You should just try explaining that to them. |
