| Surprised this isn't closed yet, it's quite hypocritical of them but they don't seem to mind. We discussed this in good length in Immahnoob's suggestion thread regarding it before the lock. I see it as a temporary fix at best and a permanent instrument of laziness at worst. |

No, there are just less threads on topics other people are interested in. This is an old issue, though, I remember discussing it months ago. Arbitrary and convenient for a temporary problem, but plain impossible to justify as a permanent rule. The idea about MAL being kept safe finds so many contradictions among its own database and userbase that it's not even funny. The question about sex not being an appropiate thread for casual discussion and talk in this subforum makes absolutely no sense. I still hope this will be removed or redefined into something that actually differentiates the concept from its dealing in some recent instances. |

If I'm correct, that was one of the reasons why the moderators banned it. |

I don't doubt that there was a bunch of bad sex threads on a roll, but they weren't bad for dealing with sex, or where they? Are religion threads banned just because some people make aggressive and confrontative threads about the topic? |
