| I'm really confused now. If Shiki killed his brother, and his father killed him, how come he's still alive? What provoked him to kill his brother (and Arcueid) anyway? |

| A dual identity within Shiki is what I personally believe, and that one is the Tohno Shiki and the other is the 'killer' Shiki. The father did not want the 'killer' Shiki to emerge as the true one, and thus stabbed him as a way to seal him, I guess. Dissent said: I believe that is the 'killer' Shiki within him, the instinctive Shiki to murder non-humans. And for such a reason I believe that Shiki may not be part of the Tohno family member (a hint was given in episode 7 when Arihiko mentioned that they did not look like siblings at all, although dubious). And if you consider the father's actions, I doubt Shiki is really his son, and they even jailed him up for that, the 'killer' Shiki, while the 'normal' Shiki is in the hospital. I'm really confused now. If Shiki killed his brother, and his father killed him, how come he's still alive? What provoked him to kill his brother (and Arcueid) anyway? Great development here in this episode, finally we see answers. I am glad that my predictions were mostly right, and I guess it ain't such a confusing anime as I would expect. I anticipate some Arcueid involvement in the following episodes to come, and not just focus on Shiki and his vague past. 5/5 |

Instead of split personality (DID), I believe it is more like two separate persons entirely, which happened to be sealed into one entity. Now we have too se what they give as explanation to what happened to the 'killer' Shiki and why did they become into one person. |

| I find Kohaku so attractive that if I were Shiki, I would have her prove her loyalty to the family by allowing me to do all sorts of sexy stuff with her! Is that why Shiki and the other bro have the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception? Is that how the power was passed to Shiki? Akiha with red hair is extra hot! Intriguing revelations in this episode. |
