| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- The final chapter of Ran to Haiiro no Sekai came out last week in the April 2015 issue of Harta manga magazine on pages 143 - 146. The chapter actually doesn't have a chapter number but calling it "48" is close enough. Although MAL is currently showing something like 52 chapters for "Ran" that total is including a number of special chapters that appeared occasionally and also weren't numbered. It's something of an epilogue and is set a number of years (probably around 8 to 10) after chapter 47. It's a sweet finish to an amazing series. I enjoyed this series immensely and it is sad to see the "oshimai" at the bottom of the final page. |
| Mm, some classic lines in this final chapter and imo overall a fine series from start to finish. I just love the way the storytelling handled itself with its fantastical themes. 7/10. A few chapters were forgettable imo but overall very entertaining. Wish it had more chapters. |

| I liked the art, but it's a shame that main arc of this manga was about that creepy relationship with old guy and ten year old girl. It started as "oh look, she can turn into adult when she put her snickers on", then it was "ok now creepy old guy showed up, let's make some ecchi poses and situations", then they figured out it's getting little bit too creepy so they came up with that weird bugs and killed off the creepy guy since their relationship was wayyy too creepy. And after that, story had no more steam to go on, so they just ended it and skipped few years into the future for one chapter. Sad. Stark700 said: but overall very entertaining. Wish it had more chapters. I agree, the factions of crows, foxes and all that fantastic stuff was great and consistent. |

| This manga had some really strong moments that were pulled back by the creepiness of the romance in the first portion of the manga. I also think Ran's coming of age could've been more powerful if it were less binary and more gradual. All in all, 8.5/10 |

| This manga's got a high score but has a few members in return. Very underrated. The ending was very satisfying. I like how the mangaka wrapped everything up. 10/10! |
| The story, magical atmosphere and the characters were all amazing. But I just can't get over how good the art is. I don't think I've ever seen such an aesthetically pleasing art anywhere, it was too beautiful. |

| What an ending! Couldn't ask for more. A fun ride overall. It's just such a shame that Ran's first was a creepy old dude. She's 10 ffs. I see the author tried so hard to make the relationship look ok, but it's not. It's disturbing. |

| neiiiin it ended, what a good read.. the story, the characters, and the art were awesome. only 7 volumes for manga this good!? be a monthly magazine already, Harta! well the author wrapped it up nicely thought. overall very satisfying! |

| I feel like reviews really did this manga dirty by complaining about the age gap romance when Hibi wins in the end anyway. She completely forgets about Outaro. He was just your usual adult crush in a coming of age story. I wonder if the editors hated him as much as MAL seems to, and if that's why the story goes to shit. 6.5/10, was great but the pacing left a lot to be desired. |
| This was a pretty entertaining manga with a very interesting world and some great art. The characters are alright but their development felt a bit rushed (especially Ran’s). The manga’s pacing also felt a bit rushed. One major aspect of this manga that dragged it down was the whole Otaro subplot. It’s creepy and unnecessary, especially since Ran doesn’t even remember him towards the end. Could’ve been a much better manga without him. |
