What I mean to say by "skip" was that the events of the 7th volume would most likely happen before the 4th one. |

| i dont think madhouse thought this was going to be a hit so they gave it a original ending and really didnt plan to give it a season 2 or even a chance for a season 2. if anything mad house got to swivel their way into incorporating 4-6 into season 2 by changing the order around. The stories and characters are there all they need to do is change some time lines |

They just now on the 24th of march announced that they will release the dub for the anime and a release date for the English version of the first two volumes. Well I made my estimation for the light novel and after looking at it statistically, I estimate it to be out June 25th. Keep an eye on the Media Factory release dates. They update to the next month's schedule usually around the 25th of every month. |

| Thanks so much for posting this information!!!! I was going to print my own copies of the NGNL Light Novels (I saved a copy of volumes 1-5 before they got taken off) lol 3 days until first release? Cant freaking wait. And I'm gonna have to rewatch the entire series to see how well they dub it. This is my #1 favourite anime ever, and holy FUCK am I excited!!! If S2 or the dub turns out to be sh*t, I'm gonna fly over to Japan or whereever and assasinate the producers while they sleep. Also: PM me if you want a copy of the LNs, i know that some people didn't get to finish them because Baka-Tsuki took them down. |

Well that was their goal originally, which is why season 1 ended on a cliffhanger (A spoiler from LN 6 to be precise). The original author wanted people to buy the light novel. Which is why it was done like this, But then unexpectably, the Anime sold extremly well in Japan which Madhouse did not predict. But with a dub coming soon (meaning it will hopefully start selling in English speaking countries like America) and a 7th volume also approaching. It is likely a second season will come sooner or later (I predicted either Fall 2015 or Spring 2016). |

But I'm not trying to crush your hope of getting a second season because I also definetly want one. The 7th volume is coming out in July, so we'll finally know what happens after that spoiler. This increases our chances of getting a second season exponentially because we might finally have enough material for a second season (Well we would only need six if it wasn't for that cliffhanger ending). Not only that but the dub is going to start airing the same week that comes out so expect a second season for Fall 2015 or Spring 2016 (That's my guess if there's going to be one).I get that a lot of anime may have had an original goal of just using the anime to advertise the source material to boost the sales of it, but just consider the fact that it didn't just get left on a cliffhanger, but the cliffhanger it was left on was really obscure and not very ordinary (or logical even.) I really do think they originally had plans to continue the series if it did well (which it did) from the very beginning. It just seems odd to leave it off at a weird spot like that, things aren't usually done like that. |

Season 1 used 3. So it would make sense that we would have to wait for somewhere around the 9th volume. But with the way season 1 ended it screws up this whole estimation. So there's not really any telling when there's going to be one. But late 2016 does sound a little better than late 2015. I'm still hoping to get one for Spring 2016 however.
