| I am not sure... I know I am tearing all over my face when I see any fight in Pacific Rim. But mecha anime can be really boring. Perhaps because on one side you have paper robot and on other side you have Super Mecha Delux 2000 now with multiple rocket fist system and nipple lasers. |

| Because hating on Mecha anime is the cool thing. Seriously though I've seen some pretty damn good mecha and I've barely explored the genre. I can't believe people here think Code Geass is a masterpiece because its by far the crappiest mecha I've ever seen. I much prefer Xabungle and Votoms. |

| I can't say I dislike mecha, but I don't watch many mecha series. I found Gundam Seed/Destiny Ok but I really enjoyed Gundam 00. Aldnoah is also Ok to me. |

| I don't dislike them I just don't feel compelled to watch them. For most of them that I've seen the best ones are when the focus isn't really on the mecha, it's the characters or something like that. So in my head I never feel like "hey I want to watch another mecha" it's more like "I want to watch another anime where the characters are that good", etc. Don't really know what a mecha anime would have to have in it to make me want to watch it. |
