| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Well that was fun, some parts felt slow but some good buildup for preparation to the battle. Akagi's speech was inspiring. I was a bit worried for Fubuki at first as well since she seems a bit inexperienced. That battle was alright imo. Pretty fast paced but I loved the overall teamwork of all the ships. Kisaragi nooooooo;_; |

| Kisaragi sank because of the weight of all the death flags she was carrying this episode. Also KUSO TTK confirmed |
| Kisaragi got sunk, no not that, my god was it really that bad to not change it up a little (it's fiction). The ending and the sunset made my hear sink but I didn't cry. Yayoi had a minor appearance this episode which was something I really wanted, hopefully she'll get more screentime now that Kisaragi is gone. |

Well, IIRC, after Kisaragi was sunk, she was effectively replaced by Uzuki in the ship platoon (which if I recall correctly, Uzuki happens to be the "genki girl" sister of Yayoi in the game). I can't wait to see more of both. |

| Personally i thought Mutsuki would get hit this episode with the things she was saying she pretty much signed her death sentence but it was her friend that got hit. Well maybe there is good news next week but we will see i guess. Luckily idol girl didn't get much attention this time she is the kind of character that makes avoid all those idol anime. Well there are more reasons for that but it's one of them. |

| Cliché death to say the least... or maybe extremely predictable would be the better way to put it. BUT! I'm very glad that they're actually including ship sinking at all. Just makes me wonder even more what later battles will be like. And next episode will probably be very sad indeed. Also will be interesting to see if maybe, just maybe, Kisaragi will turn into an abyssal at some point. It's possible that they might take that route in the anime. |

| The feels.. Mutsuki waiting + sad music pierce my heart. I was expecting her to sink but..no not that please. anyways, the episode feels so slow for reason lol.. and I am glad to see some Kongou sisters screentime next episode.. srsly i was waiting for that. |

| Man, this seems to be quite a bit better when it focuses on the battles rather than the slice-of-life stuff which is entirely meaningless if you didn't play the game. Still, that's not exactly saying much, especially with such a predictable death at the end. Just when I was about to give it credit for not acting on the obvious death flags too... And I swear, if I hear Poi one more time, heads are gonna roll. |

| I was told Urobutched wasn't involved in the KanColle anime...the fact that a girl just died in episode 3 is making me belive in the Ghost of The Butcher. Mixed feelings, a part of me doesn't want to see a Madoka-ish level of trama, another part actually wants it. ///// Kongou for next week.....BURNING LOVE!!! |

One Wildcat, piloted by Henry "Hammering Hank" Elrod, dropped his bombs on Kisaragi's stern, which was packed with depth charges. The sinking of Kisargi would contribute to Elrod being posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. So the way she sunk in the episode was also quite accurate then I guess. Hm. |
