| Technicaly I'm not lieing about it, I am from Europe and I have put my accurate location before in my profile. I decided to put "Somewhere In Europe" because I like Iron Maiden, so it's a pardoy of "Somewhere In Time" album. And besides, it's not really hard to find out which country I live in, just scroll down the page or look at my clubs. |

| Hell no. I love my country. Not because we sell oil and life standards are high and we earn high salaries and almost everyone here has a Phd and drives a European car and lives in a 4 storys house and travels every summer, I love it because for me, it's my eyes to the whole world. People aren't too open nor too uptight. They're friendly and welcoming. Things are perfectly balanced-out where I live and I pray for things to stay like that forever. I also like summer and we have like 1 month of winter and the degree goes up to 50c sometimes! |

| Well, I normally mention from what country I am from, but I don't really specify. If anyone is truly interested in finding me then trace my IP, that is, if you can. Generally I don't see the point in telling others my location as there's no need for them to know, because it's not like I'm planning on bonding, in that sense, with random folks I met on a forum board, etc. The only reason why anyone could profit from telling where they're located is when they're trying to be part of a community where the main language is a different one than their mother tongue. It gives an excuse. But if you master the foreign language fairly well then there's really no point in telling others where you're from. |

| Makes me think. I work in an industry where we provide customer assistance to US residents. Being that English is not our native tongue, grammar and accent becomes a problem and some of our customers end up asking where we're located. Unfortunately, sometimes just admitting which country you're from makes you a target of racist comments. At one point we've been told to say "we cannot disclose our location for security purposes." I can see most of the answers here are "No, I don't", but I reckon that's because these people never had to lie. In our case, the industry we've been working in made lying about our location a necessity. |
