I agree with you on all points with the addition that in the society in the show, Norma are viewed as subhuman. The officer in question was examining their cattle on behalf of the "human" present, who can't be expected to contaminate her hands with such an exercise. She was reluctant to even use her powers on the chains that would touch her. |

You can always count on Nebraska to be the absolute worst. Anyway, after episode 4 I'm convinced that Cross Ange is a yuri anime with mecha undertones. The mechs are only there to highlight the yuri and make it more pleasurable/thrilling to the audience. I like this anime but fuck this anime. |

| I know yuri. The Yuri anime I watch is hella kawaii and moe(CANDYBOY FTFW!!!!) and if none of those elements are present, at least both characters have a genuine(or implied) interest in one another as more than just friends. All the accounts so far makes this sound like they're more like fuckbuddies and that it seems hella forced. I'll give this a benefit of a doubt tho and watch the 1st episode at least to see if it is as hella bad as people make it out to be. |

| IMO, the Cross Ange story doesn't really kick off until the second half of ep2. I consider all events before that more of a prologue. If you can handle mangas like Berserk or books like Game of Thrones, you shouldn't be put off by stuff happening in Cross Ange. The funny thing is, a lot of fandoms are into the yuri aspect of other shows like SNK, not to mention plenty of yuri headcanons between characters who are most likely straight. |

| The story seems to be good so far, the character developement also and I like the art. The yuri is nice bonus. So far, I think this series is heavily underrated because "Hurr durr remove the yuri." Meanwhile, boring (personal opinion) stuff like Kuroshitsuji, Kuroko no Basket or Free! are being overrated because of pretty boys and implied yaoi. |
