one thing that was not discussed but during the conversation between Sasaki and Akira, Akira suggests that Sasaki is a swordsman, or at least he has a related "blades" ability.

no, Sasaki will be the protagonist, but he is supposedly Kaneki, but Ishida is troll, then do not trust either.

You know, in the last chapter you saw Kaneki with a big "ERASED" on top of his picture, they probably just gave him a new identity. So Kaneki is still the MC(probably).

A lot of people are thinking Kaneki has amnesia after his... head wounds, which is looking more and more likely. In the last chapter when Arima is talking to the CCG head about what they were going to name "it", they were probably discussing Kaneki's new identity.

So yeah Sasaki most likely is Kaneki. Glad to see he's out in the open in the first chapter and most likely the main character still. I was kinda wondering if Ishida would keep him out of the picture for awhile to keep everyone guessing.

It's most likely Kaneki. The only way that isn't Kaneki is if the author somehow decided to say "Hey, let's screw my readers over and make an exact replica of Kaneki." It's pretty obvious it's Kaneki, but with a new name—hence the "erased" and when the Members in the final chapters were discussing to give "him" a name—most likely Kaneki, which will get his new name.

If Kaneki really lost his memories then the first arc should be about restoring his his memories or something, I don't really know :D Kaneki was confirmed dead in the last chapter so I wonder about what really happened to him.

^ Kaneki wasn't confirm dead in the last chapter, it just implies that he died. The suitcase part is what really implied that he died.

Holy sh.. The probability of a brainwashed Kaneki is high. Arima might wanted Kaneki to succeed him as the next strongest investigator and we might be able to see Kaneki in action VS Aogiri Tree and we see Touka in pain of missing Kaneki. SOUNDS LIKE HEAVEN.

Well,S2 anime is going to be alternate timeline and won't follow the manga.
but ishida is still the writer for this timeline.

Wow Hinami looks great but also kind of sad and lonely .
What do you guys think about the current power lvl's?I know we have no information on the matter so far but it is still quite interesting.I wouldn't be surprised if there was a clash between aogiri and ccg in the near future and to me It's looking grim for aogiri because kaneki alone should be stronger than every ghoul in aogiri expect of eto.Maybe I am fawning too much over kaneki's strength but I think 3 years under the care of the so called "death god" should have given him an significant power up
