Anyway...they haven't talked much yet, but for such a short span of exchange, that was certainly sweet. Six more chapters left. Magazine's going to be delayed for a day. Noooo! |

| That was a beautiful chapter. Nishimiya and Ishida both crying and Ishida indirectly confessing to her, d'awww. Ishida's mother fainting though. I'm sure she's so relieved~ :D |

| I wish I knew Japanese sign language... That page where Ishida started crying; right in the feels. I won't say it was as emotional for me as that scene in the one-shot where he showed Shouko he knew sign language, but damn it's definitely up there when it comes to impact. |

| In all of the previous chapters, Ishida was wearing black while Nishimiya was wearing white, but now the roles have been reversed ever since Ishida has been in the hospital, he wearing white while Nishimiya in black. Ishida had originally said that he would do things over and redeem himself for his past sins, but was he really and truly redeeming himself, or was he simply going through the motions? I'd say he was much more genuine than the rest of the cast, but I'd also argue that there was an element, however small, of selfishness in wanting to atone for his sins against Nishimiya . This changed over the course of the story, and his sacrifice to save her from death represents the ultimate form of repentance. Absolved of his previous sins by this ultimate sacrifice, he can now help Nishimiya to seek repentance for her own sins, hence the symbolism in the white garments and Nishimiya in black. As for the "halos," while they seem to be prevalent in the past few chapters, I can't recall if they have been there since the beginning. If the halos are more recent additions, they can likely be taken to have the symbolic meaning of Nishimiya and Ishida seeking absolution, but I doubt that they are there only for the sole purpose of creating contrast - in some panels they have the halos, and other didn't so there is an issue of consistency. I would love to know what Nishimiya was saying, but I would assume it was about her feelings that lead her to decide to commit suicide. Hopefully, an expert can enlighten us... |

| I don't know if enough was shown to really allow someone to translate her sign language, so I think we have to interpret it based on her expression, Isshida's reaction, and Ishida's side of the conversation. Pretty clearly she was also telling him not to blame himself for her suicide attempt. But that was a pretty powerful ending when Ishida asks her to help him live, and she agrees. Highlight of the chapter I think was that panel on the bottom of page 17 with Nishimiya smiling through her tears... Quite a shock for Ishida's mom to suddenly come across him trailing tubes out of his hospital gown on the bridge with Nishiyama when she thinks he's still in a coma. |

D: Ugh I guess you gotta take what you can get though. 6 chapters left - I feel like there's a lot to be resolved still. I know romance between Ishida and Nishimiya wasn't the point of the story, but I'm still hoping for a confession (especially since Nishimiya already tried once). At this point I don't care that much about the side characters but hopefully they get their closure. The actual chapter was a nice exchange, I'm glad they're being so honest and heartfelt with each other. |

| Isayama Hajime should be awarded The Manga with The Highest Inconsistencies of Characters' Appearances. He keeps performing multiple plastic surgeries on those Shingeki No Kyojin characters in a SINGLE chapter. Yes, I've read up to the latest chapter of Shingeki No Kyojin manga. Forced myself to read through the kidsketching chapters after the anime's ended. At least from now on, I only have to go through the hell once a month. Patiently awaiting SNK TV/movie/OVA anime-sequel. The 2015 SNK live-action movie would probably suck. |

| I love that Ishida confronted whatever it was Nishimiya said and opened up to her, rather than just hugging her and the two having a good sob in each others arms. Lovely chapter. |
