| Dear MAL Team why not switch MAL to HTTPS for more security and add better protection for User and moderator accounts like CAPTCHA(I hate it) or something else to stop this hacker attacks on our loved MAL. Anyway thanks for all :D |

| Tried searching for Di Gi Charat and only a few titles remained. Five of them was renamed to, what was it again, SSJMaster vs. Xinil (Is that even a real show!?). And some Animes have the right titles, but suddenly have 9001 episodes... Strange how it doesn't affect the Anime stats. |

I know but it was an hacker who did this and not real moderator so he must used dome password cracking program to hack in to the moderator account or the moderator had an very easy password. | I'm not too sure why some of you are freaking out. Instantly deleting something fishy from your list without looking into it first just seems like such a quick and not very well thought out move.;; At this point, all users have to do is sit back and wait for titles and episode counts to be changed back, right? Why are people so worried then? While you wait or if you're scared but still want to keep a list, you can have a temporary list on an untitiled notepad or something; that's what I used to do years before joining MAL, and I still use it for specifics. I admit, the lack of security is a bit surprising, but I don't feel there's a need to become upset about a your lists being temporarily different. Maybe I'm missing something? Good luck! |
