I'm deeply sorry for the recent 'hacker' (anime title changes) issues everyone. One of our moderator's accounts was compromised earlier today and we're in the middle of restoring the numerous entries that were affected.
Please bear with us as we correct the issues.
We aren't aware of any other accounts being compromised as of yet.
This makes it the 4th year that this guy attacked MAL. Should I say right on schedule since it was around this time last year that he attacked if I remember correctly.
Better change passwords just to be safe even if no accounts haven't been compromised yet.
My bad... I sent a message to you too >.< But I hope they'll be able to restore the 'episodes seen' as well cause I can't remember what episode I'm on and being told I'm on 0 of 9001 episodes doesn't help :(
If push comes to shove I'll have a lot of "Let's see maybe this episode."
I didn't realize it was a hack, and deleted all of the shows with the affected titles. Is there any way to reverse this? Because there was 30+ shows of mine affected and I'd really like for those to be back since it's hard to find all of them again.
Considering Crave™ investments into MAL's security, which, in case you're wondering: is zero, you can easily bruteforce into any account.
I seriously wonder how many years will pass by us until we finally have ANY fix on this site.
Friendly reminder: The next plague is the annual DDoS near Christmas.
