And thus, Fugo pledges alliance to our beloved GioGio after up/downgrading his Stand in a way that makes him not completely dangerous to everyone around him. Just as planned, Giorno ;)

I must say that I enjoyed all of the Stands in this novel, a shame this wasn't drawn as an additional manga arc - it would have looked pretty badass. Some fights felt rather quick and a bit anticlimatic, but I guess with a Stand like Purple Haze that is to be expected.
In any case, we should have enough Jimi Hendrix Stands for now.

Holy shit my entire opinion about Fugo has just been turned upside down with this novel.

I hear you. Is there anyway this can be incorporated into part 5? :/

A bit anticlimatic here and there as you pointed out but I shamelessly enjoyed this a lot.
I also liked the novel only characters. I actually liked them more than Abbacchio and Narancia.

Edit: I re-read this a some time back and now that part 4 anime ended less than 24hrs ago, here's hoping that they eventually move on to an OVA/movie/anything of this book.
I pretty much stand by what I said over a year ago, this is one of my favorite pieces in the entire JJBA scope. Would definitely like to see it in motion!
Murolo, Shiela, and Fugo what a trio. *_*
Kadono Kouhei was able to expand Fugo's character in a natural way that feels like it doesn't stray off to something Araki himself would of written. Substance that wasn't there before.
He was also able to add a lingering sentimental weight without it being heavy-handed that resonated strongly with me. Props.

That was a pretty solid read, and I liked the follow up on Fugo. I was a bit sceptical about how the Stand fights would be handled, but they felt Araki-esque enough to me.

This was an excellent read and I absolutely loved how it expanded on the characters and plot points of Vento Aureo along with links to other Parts since it really enhanced my reading experience as well as my perception towards Araki's wonderfully bizarre world. Fugo's development and journey of self-discovery really, really got me hooked!

I personally think that this deserves to be considered canon because of how well-made it is and it's a big shame that this wasn't adapted by David Pro since people who only watched the Part 5 anime would be missing out on this.

I loved all the reviews of history in real places featured in this novel. Who knew Sicily was so interesting and beautiful? I kind of followed along on google maps.

The Dolly Dagger stand seems really interesting to me.
Ryuk is somewhat relatable
