The match was pretty tense. I was rooting for Kamui the whole match against that blue haired punk. In some ways though, I feel a little sorry for Gilliard after seeing his past with his loneliness though.
Okay. The first ten minutes of the episode? Total bull... Seriously. We saw only 2 turns of Kamui's match!
Seriously... Kamui, Miwa and Misaki are not even main characters anymore. The show writers have made it VERY clear, that all they care about are Naoki and Kai. The others are just extra's because they want more filler.
Kai vs Gaillard was extremely refreshing. An ACTUAL fight. No skipped turns, no skipped trigger checks.
Hyuga Junpei: “Yeah… I’m confident… Because my teammates will help me out! I can shoot confidently.. because it will be okay even if I miss!”
Kagami Taiga: “I don’t know about being the bad guy or whatever. It’s only in stories where titles like that decide the loser. This is our show. We’re the ones who are writing the script.”

Dragons sells like hot cakes, and Bushi needs Kaichi to attract in more female customers.
I can only assume that with all the Quatre Knights' backstories ending up at Link Joker and how Aichi saved them, that Aichi sealing himself away has something to do with Link Joker. And considering how Gaillard made that comment to Kai that he should ask himself why Aichi sealed himself, I think it's because he blames Kai's actions for leading to Aichi sealing himself.
Or maybe Aichi asked Kai to serve as a Quatre Knight, like Ren or Leon, but Kai refused and had his memory of it erased (probably was rebellious about the idea, too, whereas Ren and Leon agreed to not interfere).
