 I like the art style but this picture displays its two biggest problems. First the mouth. What is that? What emotion is it supposed to be displaying? A snide smile? Sarcasm? Genuine amusement? This smile and others like it are in multiple promotional images. They're just bizarre. And secondly, the chins. Not all of the characters have it, but a few do, and Ryouma looks like he could pop a balloon with that thing. It just looks so out of place with normal proportions. It's just distracting. But those are really the only really big problems I've noticed so far. It's a pretty show. Mod Edit: Removed quote of deleted post. |

| I agree that the art is very visually appealing and bright. The colors brighten my mood immediately. Like many have said, definitely reminds me of Karneval. While the animation is FAR better than most animated bl series I've seen, I did see some strange movements especially mouth movements so I'd say it's pretty decent. It didn't really take away from the experience since the plot, characters, and art make up for it for sure. I'm really loving it so far and excited to see the rest. |

| It was the art style of the mangaka that got me into Love Stage when I first read it ages ago~ The characters are drawn so gorgeously! When I watched the anime (literally finished it just now), it got me into Love Stage even more. The colors make it all look even better! |
