| I want Takumi to win. That would be more interesting in my opinion. If Subaru wins and takes Takumi's mezzluna I think it would be safe to assume that Souma will match up against him in the semi-finals and challenge him to a Shokugeki to win it back for Takumi. If Takumi wins, the options are endless and every single potential semi-final matchup would be interesting. Many possible matchups. Souma vs. Takumi: Rivals since early on in the manga, it would be intense. Akira vs Ryou: Would be kind of like Akira vs Hisako. Ryou is Alice's #2 in a way. Despite being a better cook. Souma vs. Akira: Rivals. Still isn't clear as to whom is the overall better cook. I think this match will be the final. But semi-finals would be fine as well. Takumi vs. Ryou: Not as interesting as other potential matchups. But still would be fun to see these two go at it. Souma vs. Ryou: Ryou is apparently a better cook than Alice. Ryou might want to take revenge for Alice? And Souma and him are similar in some ways. Takumi vs. Akira: Now THIS would be something nice to see. Since both of them see themselves as Souma's biggest rival. I'm sure this would be a step towards proving that for each of them. |
| That Subaru has some skills thou and is dedicated as hell #respect XD we should all learn something from him. Takumi is supposed to be Souma's rival so him losing here is :( And this tournament plays a big part in who goes in the elite 10, who anyone of them can easily wipe the floor with these first years :D |

| Mimasaka is actually pretty cool, not going to lie. While the series is obviously trying to make you root for Takumi, I'm pretty sure that Mimasaka's got this one. That way Soma can beat him later on. |
| Souma would crush someone like Mimasaka since Souma's ridiculously unpredictable. I feel like Souma versus Mimasaka is the direction this is going, which is a shame since that's the cliché option. |

| The way I see this, either a comeback victory by Takumi or a redemption battle against Souma.. Personally, I prefer it if Takumi will win but Souma avenging him doesn't sound bad as well.. One thing is for sure though, Subaru is one hell of creepy guy.. He's like the manifestation a stalker itself lol! |
