Brynhildr (also spelled Brunhild, Brünnhilde, Brynhild) is a shieldmaiden and a valkyrie in Germanic mythology, where she appears as a main character in the Völsunga saga and some Eddic poems treating the same events. I guess it refers to the witches but I'm sure they probably used Norse mythology just to sound edgy. |

Jun Maeda, the main scenario writer for Clannad, thought Clannad (a band from Ireland) meant family. Clannad, the band's, name is short for Clann As Dobhar, which means "the family from Dore." The Irish word for "family" is just "clann." I've always thought it was a little funny that such a famous VN was named through a mistake. |
| "Bleach" hasnt ever been explained --like most shit in the story itself-- but one could easily say the Shinigami purify the world of Hollows in the same way normal bleach removes stains. OT: Guilty Crown, though I once read that it was most likely just bad Engrish. D.Gray-man as well. I have no theories on that one. |

I accept this 'guilt.'" 5 Centimeters Per Second doesn't make sense to me simply because from observation you can tell that it obviously is NOT the speed at which cherry blossoms fall. I also have no idea what Non Non Biyori means, if anything. And I'm not perfectly clear on Neon Genesis Evangelion (aside from maybe the genesis part), Perfect Blue and Noragami. |
