| I personally don't like his character (eventhough he's not you're generic MC type ). He has this habit of doing things behind others back for his benifit and i find that cheap and annoying and it pisses me off. |

| I like Juugo. He has a much more pro-active mindset. Rather than sit and brood over something, he simply buckles down and gets what needs to be done, done. Regardless of who it could upset. |

| Doing things behind people's back, uh like everyone else in the show. Nanana won't tell him squat even though he is trying to help her. The president and his gang have tried to betray him twice. Other than Yukihime I don't think the Matsuri group is ever straight with him. Tensai would have her ass tossed in jail as the majority of the thing she does is illegal and back handed, wire tapping, breaking and entering, etc. Juugo is actually a really well done character, he shows us human nature, ie people are inherently selfish not altrustic (him not wanting to be a thief to help others), yet when it comes down to it he has enough morals to help out the people he cares for despite that nature, including nanana, tensai, and yuikihime and yun. |
| He doesn't really appeal to the major audience, since its since years we have a male main character with... uhh brains. I guess. I think hes above decent though. |

| I don't mind his character, it's refreshing but like the OP said, his character seems to be all over the place. I can't tell if he's competent or not. Hell, I can't even tell what he really wants. It's said several times throughout the show that he hates people and don't like helping them (reason why he left Matsuri), yet look at what he's doing. This is my own personal grip but what the hell is with his combat abilities? He is supposed to be trained since he was young in martial arts yet he just goes around brawling and getting his ass kicked by the most random people.... |
