If you had read the manga you wouldn't just say that this has only have "potential" because for me this was better to Elfen Lied... Gokukoku no Brynhildr manga was better than Elfen Lied because in Elfen Lied I felt like the killing was a usual scene that had never made me shocked,scared,terrified after watching 3 episodes of it... And the way of killing/dying scene on this anime was more better than Elfen Lied... In Elfen Lied if someone would be killed/dies It was done through slash/cut using only their "vectors" but in Gokukoku no Brynhildr they are killed/dies in various ways because they had too many different abilities for each Characters (The Witches). |

| Why should you compare the show to elfen lied in the first place? Sure, same author. That doesn't mean it should follow the same path as the earlier series. Brynhildr is still one of the greater anime this season. This series is interesting in its own right. Do you expect gore and more gore each episode? Because those fanservice serves as a breather, though not really the best idea, but its still acceptable. Of course, unless your standard is to only accept masterpieces in order to enjoy anime accordingly. Even the MC have way more backbone compared to most series. So I'm not sure why does some fanservice kills your interest and complain. If it does, then go find a series that doesn't have harem tag on. I'm sure it has its flaws, but its still a great series. |
