Some silly moments aside, Kuroneko was amusing to watch although she did get a bit annoying on occasions. Still, she's got superpowers so... But yeah, this is from the same author of Elfen Lied so I expect more darkness like the ones from the flashbacks this episode. BAKA. |

| Kuroha = Kuroneko? There are no moles though, really interested to see how they will connect the two. The armpit confrontation in front of the class got me. A girl that is self proclaimed to be a witch because she can break a boulder and see the future. This is quite interesting, the childhood part and how many life and death situations will come in this anime. |

| So this is going to go anime original cause Wonder why they skipped the opening scene of the manga too. Either way like the art and looking forward to see everything else being animated.Guess,they'll go anime original ending just like Elfen Lied. |

Overall it's an interesting start. though i don't understand how they're going to get to white haired psycho witch in one cour. She's featured prominently as an antagonist in the OP. They may end up skipping a whole lot of material which would be a shame. Nanami and Mizuka are integral story arcs in the Manga. I'll really wait and see when Kana and Kazumii are introduced whether it'll be really interesting. That and the white haired guy antagonist also. |

| The setting and background are pretty dark as I would've have expected, but Neko sure is funny and Ryouta doesn't like losing to squishy girls lol. Overall the first episode was interesting and I can only see things getting more interesting from now on. |

| Pretty much liked how they adapted the manga. Judging from the opening, they're going for an AO ending like they did with Elfen Lied. Now I just have to sit back and wait until Kana appears. |

| The OP was good, found the shots switched from blood covered to normal interesting. The episode itself was average for a first episode. Seems like this should be a good series, looking forward to more. The ED was sort of bland, nothing special there. I've never read the manga, nor did I ever read the manga for Elfen Lied, but the Elfen Lied anime is one of my all time favorites, so I'm really looking forward to this one. |

| One of my most anticipated anime of spring has finally started airing and I quite like the impression it gave on the first episode! ED was good, but the OP is...GLORIOUS!!! :D Looks like some connections can be made between Kuroneko and Kuroha Neko. People that can supposedly tell the future is also a nice addition. The whole thing about magicians(?) and that machine-type thing on Kuroha's neck looks skeptical. Definitely watching unless anime somehow goes downhill. Props to the OP. Looking forward to the next episode! |
| So. The OP is great, really. The ending is nice. Animation Key standard, so nothing new. Characters design pretty good, I liked them. The vibe I sensed was the one Another gave me, really.. But.. this seems Elfen Lied 2.0 It's the same thing! Childhood friends separated, years after a girl meets the main protagonist, she has particular powers, this time product of researches. Judging by the ed, there will be more of them. I enjoyed this, but I thought I was watching an EL remake.. I wanna see where this will go, really. |

Well she does appear in the manga However the translated chapters haven't caught up with the raws yet (which are around 95 or so) which might be why she hasn't appeared yet (assuming you read just the translated chapters). Also wondering why they skipped that part too... |

| Kuroha does look a lot like Kuroneko. Murakami trying to see if what she said was true, about him dying, and it did. Good thing she saved him just in time. There were some funny parts to this episode. Can't wait to watch the next one. |

| So, this might be the darkest anime of the season, and its also the only one that makes me want to drop the manga series that I am already reading (Maid-Sama and TerraFormars) and read this to find out more... So hyped to see more of this. |

| During the OP I was expecting some lyrics to come up but they didn't. However I somehow did not mind at all; it was great. Although the episode was pretty interesting, my only "con" is the VA for Kuroha Neko only because of Strike the Blood's annoying main female had the same one. But I'm going to try to not let that stop me from enjoying the show for the rest. |

| elfen lied 2.0 confirmed..same old idea with slightly new setting. so they really had to use the overused new transfer student trope to introduce her? its like there are no other ways to do that. oh and her name is kuroha neko??..what a coincedence!! "surprise" the OP is fantastic even tho its dubstep. animation and art are both fine. will watch this but not impressed sofar. 3/5 |

| Well the opening was pretty cool, we can see that our main lead isn't a passive lead...though going up to a girl and saying show me your armpits...maybe passiveness is a good thing sometimes, haha. Very Curious plot and it feels a bit out of the norm, which is nice. Between Tatsuya Shiba and Ryouta Murakami, we might have some nice male leads this season. | Oh yes this the best promising Anime of the season i have yet to see The Animation is Good The Main character actually has some brains and so far does not look your typical protagonist and the female lead i just love her serious and yet dumbfounded personality a great combo. The Setting has hummer but at the same time melancholy feel which i find interesting. I cant compare it to elfen lied cause i never saw it so i will take your word for it for those who do Overall first impression score: 8.5/10 It got me craving for the next episode already so that is already a promising start :) |
