| They already caught Kira red-handed but fighting him became the next real problem. Kira making use of Stray Cat to make terrifying remote bombs only made things even more difficult for them. Okuyasu got the Jobro treatment and became Part 4's Zeppeli to save Josuke's life... |

| The way that Kira constantly repeats and expresses to people that he wants a quiet life is curious. I understand the comedy of a serial killer simply wanting a tranquil life. I understand that repeating such a phrase can give him an iconic quote and identity. But I also wonder if there is something deeper there. I wonder if it comes from a place of longing and unfairness. "I don't want to fight so let me live you freaks, you get to be happy so let me!!!" Perhaps this is projection, but it's the first place my mind went. Second, with Josuke speaking about how Killer Queen isn't a good one on one fighting stand, it's a good time to rehash my friend's observation about Killer Queen. She suggested that it is a perfect fit for Kira due to its automatic nature. Our man simply wants to live peacefully, and to have a power which just eviscerates people and evidence, and two remote powers which do whatever they can to protect him without needing effort, it's quite fitting. His stand helps preserve his way of life without forcing him to do much at all. Third, using the cat plant to detonate air is ummmm GROOVY BRO. Killer Queen is now Krang from TMNT and he may have even killed Okuyasu. Me being a sick son of a gun actually hoped that Kira would kill him because both of them are two of my favourite characters and I love feeling strong feelings for my boys. What's a better way to make me feel strongly than through killing each other?! |
