Not bad, the kid is standing up to Kira now. Idk about blackmail but he's got some iron balls.

Fuck, I love Kira. Him giving Minako her boyfriend's earrings (& ears) was perfect.

That was a really classy way to kill someone.
Lol, I didn't know that he liked to have his fingernails clipped by his victims.
Hayato saw everything!

Hmmm, why does Kira use his old tie with the symbol of his stand, Killer Queen? Didn't he leave it at Cinderella's? I bet this detail may give him away someday.

That couple effortlessly pushed Kira to the brink and immediately got their just desserts, with Minako having to undergo incomparable psychological mindbreak before handing her life over to the man with the lame nail clippers. It's too bad he'll have to dispose of her hand before he got out of the apartment because her death would've been a lot more pointless than it already was.

Kira is one creepy villain. Instead of trying to understand him, I think I should just look at him functionally for now. It's hard to understand where his complicated feelings with women in particular and his "hobby" came from, but to see him vetting out prey on the mundane place of a subway is chilling. Focusing his long nails as he sits there, only allowing girls who are "begging for attention" to live because he's staying undercover. It's the same feeling we got back when he fondled the sandwiches using the corpse. I don't really find his home life creepy, it is not relatable to me in the same way as the man beside you on the subway being this much of a creepy psycho. It's playing on the fear of your neighbor in an effective way.

It was also another look into his compulsion. Despite trying not to give himself away, he couldn't help but physically bump into that girl the moment she started to bad-mouth the men in her life. This time it was not romantic like the last girl he was depicted attempting to "purify", it was her dad she was mocking. Fascinating and seeing that his desire to kill her overpowered his desire for self-preservation as in keeping in hiding, it does continue to show us what he means by saying it is in his nature to kill.

He has normalized his hobby, he finds it healthy, and he gave this poor girl a terrifying death. After blowing her boyfriend to bits, he made her clip his nails. Incredibly weird and forever connected to his hand fetish, only to hang her boyfriend's ears off hers- a way of rubbing in what she has done was wrong I assume, and nuking her. Bowling pin clippers, huh?

Even if my only understanding of Kira comes from loose guesses, he is functionally frightening villain, and counter-intuitively, a man we find it easy to root for. His routine way of life is awesome, and the fact that he is a reactive villain rather than a proactive villain, if I'm using those words right, is incredibly unique as well.
