| I have kept it hidden from my posts, but my friends know that I am a certified Koichi hater. It's not logical, and it's not interesting, so it wasn't really worth mentioning here. Maybe it's because he's so perfect that it enrages me, maybe I'm jealous, but either way, it made for this to be a cathartic chapter! The way I began rooting for Kira as he was on his way here probably made this a weird situation where I was 100% on the villains side from the get go. To me, Koichi was the one who had to go down! Not that I think he will stay down though, there's still quite a lot left of the manga and he only just got act 3, it would be a waste if he didn't use it more, would it not? And Kira really left an impression. Practically killing another small child, this time it was not for self preservation but to relieve the stress that was brought upon him. To help soothe his hurt ego and anger. He still kept up his orderly and refined demeanour, perhaps it left briefly, but it made for a somewhat chilling display of bottled up rage. The kind of ruthless and explosive burst of anger which felt real to me! The kind of thing anyone barely holding it together for so long could let out. Frightening. I got to give it to Koichi though, he did what Joseph Joestar did to Wham. Despite losing 1,000%, he insulted the man's pride to his face! It only inspired another attack rather than a promise for a duel, but it was still pretty cool. |
