| That's actually probably one of the best recap episodes I've ever seen. Focusing just on Minami like that really helps put their whole relationship in perspective and makes it seem more like reminiscence than simple plot summary. That said, 2 recaps in a row is too much. I'll be skipping episode 79... |

| This recap was nice enough since it was focused on Minami, and I liked to see again their childhood while listening to Minami's Song, "White Dream". The next one is going to be a insufferable drag though, having to see the torture sessions again is going to suck. |

| Another recap this time about Minami and her gymnastics. Seeing the childhood part sequenced around 19:30 in this recap was pretty adorable |

| I really love how Touch does recaps. Actually calling it recap would be wrong since they're more like compilations as suggested by the episode titles. No annoying voice-overs doing narrations, no proper chronology either. It's just a bunch of really good scenes from past episodes presented in a nice format with nice insert songs. This compilation episode was focused on Minami! I think Minami will feature more prominently in the last arc so this was probably a good idea. Past episodes like this followed Kazuya and Tatsuya respectively so the third protagonist was left out. She finally got hers. And what do you know, Tatsuya is also prominently featured. Minami and Tatsuya are inseparable after all. Next compilation episode seems to be about coach Kashiwaba which completely came out of left field. I'm curious how it'll be done. |
