| I liked Kyousougiga more in its random moments, towards the end it tried to have some sort of plot and I thought it kinda failed there, one of the episode was just exposition, heck, I still remember a scene where all the character did was walk from one side of the screen to the other while just talking for like 2 minutes straght, didn't even bother animating them talking, just them moving in the background. |

But yeah, the story is streamlined - character development/interactions are focused a lot better, and lots of little details are added/changed. It does have the feel of time passing between events a bit more too. The better pacing probably does help give the 'down' moments a proper feel to it. The past arc doesn't quite match the quality though, but it has its great moments. Everything involving the Side 6ers was fantastic. |
