I'm beyond happy to see Shinobu, she's so cute. That scene where Shinobu made that doorway to time travel was pretty intense. The scenery and animation this episode was superb. All the detailing they put into the setting is amazing. Great intro episode for the new arc. Her name is Oshino Ougi and she hasn't been introduced yet. |

| Yotsugi doesn't say '... said with a posed look' anymore. xD Shinobu and Araragi traveling 11 years back into the past is really interesting. I'm sure that's when Mayoi is still alive. Great Shinobu and Araragi moments this episode. Shinobu is so cute when she's a kid. :D Mayoi's arc will probably be a lot better than I'd expected. :) 5/5 |

| One thing I learnt from watching this episode is that I shouldn't eat whilst doing so. Maybe I was just off today, but eating, reading the fast-paced subs and looking at visuals at the same time was a lot harder than I thought when watching the Monogatari series. Won't be doing that again lol Also looks like time-travel is involved. Thought Shinobu was gonna troll Araragi in that aspect, but looks like she really could. Looking forward to this arc, always enjoyed time-travelling stories even though it could get confusing at times. |

| The best episode of Bakemonogatari, without a doubt O: SHAFT congratulations, flawless animation, dialogues stupendous, fabulous weather could not be better with that final Shinobu rising in my question, and the new characters seem very interesting, Hitagi is falling behind with its popularity. Waiting eager pro next episode! |

| So the focus has switched back to Araragi wouldn't have mind if it was on Senjougahara or the Fire Sisters The story from Hanekawa was certainly captivating Oumi's 3 second interval was just as Araragi said, impressing and a show off The conversation with Ononoki was enlightening Shinobu and the Doreamon reference, there are so many episodes which I can't recall on summer homework at all Time traveling surely was off, instead of 1 day it's all the way back 11 years Shinobu really messed up, but again going through another dimension is always risky Back to the Future! |
| daaamm, dis girl in the beginning creeps me off... and i loled at the moment when araragi points to some flaw in shinobus timeline and paradoxon, but it seems since they traveled 11 years back instead of 1 day, i guess they dont have this paradoxon anymore, do they? |

| Oshino? You mean that new character Ougi is Meme's... little... sister? ...relative? Hmm, why do those eyes look that way... so unnatural... Looks like Shinobu really taught Yotsugi a lesson that time. A "black page" in her history, huh. The sudden background change into an African-style savanna filled with Baobab trees was rather distracting. Also, I didn't realize she was voiced by Hayami Saori. Time travel. Should've expected something like that was even possible in the Monogatariverse. Shinobu overdid it for her first time by... sending the two of them 11(?) years into the past instead of just a day or two behind. I don't know or can no longer remember how long Mayoi has been dead, but because this is her arc (Mayoi Jiangshi) I can probably expect to see her still alive in this coming story. Shinobu always steals the show whenever she appears. HNNNNGH! |

(these are Commie sub'd so.... make of it what you will) I haven't read the LN yet, nor have I downloaded any other groups subs. I am curious to the LN's take on this scene and also other subers versions. |

| So this has probably been postulated in this thread (and novel readers obviously already know) but I'm assuming Araragi is going to try to save Hachikuji from being run over in the past, correct? It makes sense since his thoughts of her are likely what sent them back that far. |

As a common example, pouring soy sauce on pudding makes it taste like sea urchins but, on the surface they seem unrelated, and even in depth they are unrelated, however they are similar when tasting them. Is it a paradox from the sensor organ's function, or is it a trick, if I had to say, she is like a carbonated drink without the fruit juice. Even though they're completely different, they taste the same, like synthesized food coloring and chemical seasoning -thoroughly fake, a woman symbolizing imitation itself. Worrisome matters. Distressing matters. Trouble. And failure, regret. A high school junior that would store it all in the same drawer ―― she is my new underclassman, Oshino Ougi. Yeah she was always gonna be a chick... |
