| I'm looking for a Yaoi manga I read about a year ago. I hardly remember anything but I hope you guys can help me.. Vague stuff I remember: - The art is beautiful, detailed and 'realistic' (this is really the most outstanding memory I have of the manga and the reason why I'm looking for it now, so the art is really important, it's unusually detailed for this genre) - The 2 main characters are probably somewhere between 16 & 20 years old - They meet on a rooftop of an abandoned building (not a school!), it's kind of their hideout, and there is a mattress there I think? - It's set in modern time Japan, no fantasy - The story is somewhat dark, so it probably includes drama and tragedy, maybe also a psychological tag - I think it's longer than usual Yaoi, at least 15+ chapters (?) - I have no idea how old it is, but I think it may be older than 10 years.. absolutely not sure about this. The art really doesn't give it away. If you have any idea what the title could be, please tell me! Thanks in advance :) |

| I started a manga about two months ago at a book store, and I can't remember the name. It's about a girl who is a yokai, but was raised as a human. She's betrothed to a dude, and she likes him. He turns out to be a jerk, and says that she will kill them all since she's a yokai, and he tries to kill her. She escapes into the forest, where a girl helps her... and I think there was a frog, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know what manga it is? |

The other is the playboy time, I believe. -- 2)I think it is a shoujo manga, the main character name is Ran(?) and is very gyaru and girly.She also has 2 friends one with black hair and is more quiet, reserved and timid. | Okay so this is a bit of a stretch but we'll see... So in primary school in China I distinctly remember reading a chapter of some manga that I cannot for the life of me remember the name of, this was circa 1998-2001 and I read it in a magazine of sorts. Below are all that I can recall: - set in a school - a girl needed to go pee (I think?) - she may or may not have wanted to go pee all the time? - she had one of those cheap hair bands on her wrist that would get loops in it, or someone gave one to her? - hair band like this: http://0.tqn.com/d/urbanlegends/1/S/s/y/hair_bands_1.jpg - then when she wanted to go pee she just pulled at the hair band on her wrist - it either snapped on her wrist or she just untwisted the twisty bit ... and that is all I remember. I don't expect anyone knows what this is or is from but I would be super duper grateful for any help. |
