Been following this series for 12 years... so many feels and memories. It has been one hell of a ride. Thank you so much Kishimoto, Masashi. |

It's really not that strange that everyone got married and had kids, I mean their adults at the end of the manga. It's pretty much expected and common. Weird they didn't find someone from the village to fall in love with and just married their team mates and what not. But hey, I'm cool with it. Well now that the manga has ended I'm super hyped for The Last movie. Pretty sure Naruto and Hinata's kids will appear at the end in some time skip. Hell we might even see Sarada. |

The fact that Jiraiya wasn't mentioned even once during the last chapters disappointed me. Decent ending overall though. |

Anger, insult and utter disappointment. That's what I feel. I'm more disappointed with Kishimoto actually than with the ending. 699 was fine and then what? A sudden 10-year time skip, shippings happening left and right with no explanation, time travel, unrevealed stalkers and whatnot. And all for what? Just so he can promote his stupid movie and make people go watch it. What? Does he think it's not obvious? Maybe it wouldn't have been when I was ten and the manga had just started, but I am not ten anymore, as I am sure most of its readers aren't. What he did was insulting, and I don't like being insulted in that way, especially when I have devoted so much time waiting for the next chapter. It could have ended a masterpiece and he just shat on the whole thing for getting a few more bucks from the movie. |

Damn...it's over. To be honest here...I hate the pairings and Gaara is still alone. 10/10, it's was a fun ride and I'll really miss it. |

AAAAANNNNNDDDDD IT'S OVER Let's see the list here... NARUHINA FREAKING WINS YES YES YES SASUSAKU ALSO FREAKING WINS TAKE THAT ALL YOU NARUSAKU SHIPPERS SHIKATEMA WINS - hell yeah! Then there's some unexpected pairings, most notably InoSai, but well~ Naruto is such a badass now. I can't believe he actually accomplished his dream of being a hokage... He actually made it :') ... Although, what I find a bit weird are the names 'Bolt' and 'Salad'. Man, those are some weird names. I think I'd feel more comfortable if I called them 'Boruto' and 'Sarada', so I'll go with that. |

I mean the dude played a big role in narutos life and not a single sentence about him. You could have at least gave your kid some sort of name referencing him or buy all his dirty books as a reminder of him or a look at his grave. |

Very average and kind of lazily done epilogue. Wasn't expecting much but it's pretty silly to see them talk about this story about a great evil threat, which btw had tons of retcons about how it was the reason for hatred and the "story of the ninja" (lulz), then Naruto beats this enemy and eternal peace arrives I guess. People ain't buyin them weps and there's a metropolis and shiz. Naruto never gave his answer to peace I guess. They decided to go this route where "there will never be any eternal peace but things will be looking brighter from now on". Naruto and Sasuke's relationship and Kyuubi's and Naruto's so called bonding was complete nonsense and didn't even exist in part 1. The war lasted for couple of days. The same way Obito turned from a mass murderer, Neji's murderer, into the coolest guy in matter of 30 minutes, I feel this was kind of a FORCED ending. |

I:)disliked:)this:)chapter:)very:)much:) 700 just doesn't make sense to me in most aspects. I really didn't mind who ended up together in the end. It could've been Naruto and TenTen, Sakura and Mizuakge, Hell, Sasuke and freaking Goku. As long as it makes sense; meaning has proper development to support such claims that are being produced. I am very well aware it's a shounen manga so romance is not a main core component which I am okay with. But please, have it make sense or leave it out. I would have much rather had every single character been single. (but ze money would allow no such thing for part 3~) Maybe the movie will make sense of the "blank" part. Although, I think that's kind of a cheap way out. I just feel sort of empty with this ending. I will always be a fan and be thankful of Kishi's work but this just did not meet up to his nor the manga's potential. |

When Sasuke was shown, did you noticed how he felt something but then he wasn't sure? OROCHIMARU IS STILL STALKING HIM!!! Btw if i knew that Gaara becoming nice and growing up will result in combing his hair like that i would have wished he died when he was still an evil moffo. |

I've finished reading the very last chapter of the 'Naruto' manga and immediately we see that many years have past since the previous chapter. So far that Naruto and Hinata (NaruHina!!) already have children. The same goes for the other Konoha 11 members. Then we see that Konoha now is the Dancing Leave villge and has a huge metropolis on the mountain. We see that Naruto's son, Bolt (Boruto), is kind of the same as Naruto when he was his age. We see the ex-Gokage meeting and...WTF?!! Why is Oonoki still alive??! Speaking about the Gokage, it's also cool to see the new Kage at the meeting: Gaara, Chojuro, Darui, Kurotsuchi and...Naruto!! Of course we knew it would happen, but it is still nice to see it actually in the manga. Then we see one of the most awesome things of this chapter and that is Naruto's face on the mountain, with the Strawhat Jolly Roger (from One Piece) on his face!! I'm happy and sad about this chapter. I feel sad that the series is over and even though there are many things that have to be told to really give a complete ending, I think the manga series has a great ending!! |

I was utterly disappointed with the ending. For someone who's been doing a really long running manga, not to mention a popular one, ending it with an unplanned and forceful fan-service chapter is pretty.. sad. I hope Kishi will make something as decent as the early naruto next time Overall: 2/10 |

That's it for the end? A bunch of random, forced pairings just for the sake of it? Oh well, can't deny that i felt strangely happy seeing Bolt. And i changed my mind, Naruto's hair looks awesome, at least in this last chapter, in the movie i still think it's weird XP I will miss Naruto, A.LOT, it was one of my first anime, and definitely a gateway, so thank you Kishimoto, for leading me to this wonderful world that is, Anime. I still have this sour taste in my mouth because of the War arc, but the last 5 chapters were absolutely amazing, so i'm just gonna do myself a favor and never mention the names 'Kaguya' and 'Obito'...EVER. Overall, i think the mangaka did a good job, Naruto is finally the Hokage, so i'm happy. I would give this a 8/10, but because of several reasons, i think a 7.5/10 works just fine. Once again, THANK YOU KISHIMOTO, THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING. .......Sasuke and Sakura? Seriously? After all that happened? I know that i'm saying this, but when i was reading it i was jumping all around out of pure excitement, and i'm not even a shipper, weird huh? Looking forward to the Movie, and the short stories... see you next year, Bolt! xD |

Naruto's son, bolt, kinda looks like Super Saiyan trunks because the hair. I don't like how the characters from the future look. Most of them just cut their hair (Naruto, Gaara, etc). Sakura, Tenten, and Chouji's designs do look pretty mature though. The younger generation looks like their parents. More pairs here than the socks in my closet. I don't feel like I've gotten enough closure here. But since this series hasn't been too strong as of late, I don't think it'll be too hard to get over my very mild sadness of this series ending. |

My 2 Cents (Devil's Advocate Position) I think that the romance subplot in Naruto made me dislike the series more than like it. It lead to stupid shipping rivalries, when all I wanted was for Naruto to act badass, become Hokage, see more interactions between the Konoha Ninja during their downtime between missions, etc. Essentially, I wanted the little details in the story to be a little more than little details. I think that the show The Legend of Korra became better when they dropped this subplot (for the most part) and focused more on the action/adventure/mythos/politics of the show. I can see why people think Hinata should be with Naruto and why they are happy for her. IMO the truth is that Hinata and Sakura were underdeveloped and poorly written. Hinata was almost never around Naruto for about ¾ of the story, even though it was clear what her feelings were. Sakura started out as a naive love struck girl who then kicked ass physically and mentally shortly after the time skip (Sai intro/Sasuke search arc) who then devolved back into a love struck teenage because…? If team 7 had 4 people in it including Hinata and she went on all those adventures with Naruto less people would give a fuss (I think). Sakura became the worst character in the series IMO because she reverted back to her old self. I remember the first episode of Naruto I ever saw (Kakashi telling new Team 7 to steal bells). All 3 failed that “ninja test” for different reasons. Naruto failed because he never thought before he acted. At the end of the series he matures by becoming a more calculating person in his words and actions. Sasuke failed by taking independent actions without his teammates. He matures by realizing that he can’t accomplish any of his goals in life without support. Kakashi failed Sakura because she needed to get her head out of the clouds and stop obsessing over Sasuke so much. She matured in the end by…. Ohhh wait she didn’t. With that said, people who say there is was NO evidence/foreshadowing for Sakura/Naruto to end up together must be dreaming. There is about as much evidence for Sakura as there is for Hinata, which confused the crap out of me when the series ended as to why Naruto and Sakura didn’t have any closure in the end (which I hope, though doubt is properly addressed in the movie). The evidence IMO pointed to Naruto confessing to Sakura in the end once he fulfilled his “promise” to her. 1.In the beginning of the series, it is revealed that Naruto has feelings for Sakura. -Sakura knows of these affections (unbeknownst to him) thanks to Sai, but her feelings for him (according to the Databooks) are confused and unspecified. 2. Kushina's dying wish was for Naruto to find a girl like her so that Naruto can receive her love even when she was gone. Sakura was compared to Kushina by Naruto's father, noticing their striking resemblance in personality. 3. After Kaguya is defeated, Naruto talks with Minato, asking him to tell Kushina that he is keeping all her wishes. Kakashi and Sakura are shown staring at him blankly when he says that his feet aren't always properly washed. He eventually remembers his mother's wish for Naruto to find a girl like her, but starts stammering and eventually says that he hasn't quite fulfilled everything Kushina asked. 4. Throughout the series, Naruto and Sakura have been shown to share mutual admiration and strong respect for one another. 5.In Iruka's lesson of Heaven and Earth, he makes a real-world example of Naruto and Sakura, showing that each of them can't survive without the other. 6.Sakura has been shown to get angry and yell at people who insult Naruto, such as Sai and even Sasuke, who was her crush. 7.Sakura has been teased and/or pointed out as Naruto's girlfriend by Konohamaru, Gamakichi, and Minato respectively, among others. 8.Despite having feelings for Sakura, Naruto acknowledges her feelings for Sasuke. He also made a "lifetime promise" to bring Sasuke home, which is seen as both a positive and negative element of their relationship. 9.Sakura has shed tears for Naruto on numerous occasions whether due to his life being in danger or simply due to his commendable words and actions. 10.Naruto has been shown to recklessly save Sakura numerous times when her life was in danger, likely more than anyone else has 11.Sakura is shown to be openly protective over Naruto and constantly concerned for his well-being. Additionally, Sakura realizes that Naruto has done a lot for her and wishes to repay the debts outside of "small and insignificant" things such as healing him. 12.Sakura greatly admires Naruto, particularly after he defeated Nagato. 13.Naruto and Sakura are known to constantly bicker, often ending with Sakura comically punching Naruto for being stupid, although they quickly get over each one. 14. When healing Naruto after he turned kyuubi against orochimaru, Sakura expresses her desire to be useful to Naruto. Despite her wound, she continues to heal the Uzumaki and soon asks Yamato to teach her the technique to stop Naruto's Kyubi form. She is quickly saddened when he tells her that he was the only who had this ability, saying that, as usual, the things she can do for Naruto are small and meaningless. Noticing this and her wound, Yamato claims that the important thing is Sakura's strong feelings, causing her to look up in confusion. Smiling, Yamato tries to say that he can tell she likes him by just looking at her, but he is quickly cut off as Naruto begins to awaken. 15. At the end of the Sai/Sasuke arc, Naruto complains he can’t eat because of his broken arm and Sakura, seductively moving her chair and leaning in closer to him, gives him a flirtatious look and offers to feed him, which leaves him happily surprised and blushing. 16. Naruto who is still walking through the village has a flashback about the encounter he had with Sasuke and just as he snaps out of his trance, Sakura and Sai arrive to see him sitting on a bench. Naruto then questions Sai's presence and complains that both Sakura and Sai interrupted him while he was devising a plan to go with Sakura on a date. 17. After Karui beats up naruto after he wouldn’t give any information on sasuke, Sai asks Naruto if he likes Sakura (Notice this happened after the Pain arc, wherein Hinata professed her love towards Naruto) Naruto said that he couldn’t because he didn’t keep his promise with Sakura (to bring Sasuke back). ---- In conclusion, based on this evidence, I can see why many people believed that Naruto would end up with Sakura (and were disappointed in the end), just as I can see the evidence why Hinata ended up with Naruto in the end. I could care less who ends up with who, I just wish Kishimoto hadn’t turned Sakura from IMO the worst to the best and then back to the worst female character in Naruto, and Hinata from an undeveloped minor secondary character that is not in most of the story to the main character’s significant other without having a more concrete visible relationship in the end. Ultimately I think Kishimoto just didn’t know how to develop female characters in the series which was a factor in my disliking of the story in the end. |

I'm actually content with the last chapter. I was getting sick of the 4th War arc with all the bulls@#$ power-ups, preachy speeches and pointless flashbacks. It was nice to see the minor characters get some screentime in the last chapter (especially my favorite, Kankuro. I'm so glad to see him alive, I thought Kishi forgot about him! ) Looks like the shipping wars are over...thank god, now I won't have to hear from those annoying arguments from shippers again! And LOL at these people bitching about the pairings. People, it's a shounen series, not a romance series! I know this is a cliche answer, but despite the shows major flaws, it was a gateway anime for me and will always hold a special place in my heart. Now I have the mini series to look forward to. Hopefully, it should be an easy read and not heart attack and face-palm inducing like the main series was. |

I'm pretty satisfied with the ending And of course Naruto will end up with Hinata All true readers would have known that from the beginning of shippuden And it's really disrespectful to be telling how the story should end yourselves, It's like you guys don't honor all the hard works that sensei's done all this time, like stealing the copyright of the author It's his manga, and no fans has the right to decide how it should end Well yes you may be disappointed by the ending, well if you can't accept all of it then don't become a fan of kishimotos' works at all! |

This is my childhood right here. Fifteen years have passed. Damn, Kishimoto-sensei is a genius. To have come up with such a masterpiece. Kudos! The ending was great, albeit a bit rushed. That's where the movie kicks in. So many [forced] pairings. Honestly, I instantly liked Bolt. The way he looks like, his attitude, and even the name. Not sure I can say the same about Sakura's daughter's name. :P Overall, a 10/10 for me. Truly a one-of-a-kind manga that only Kishimoto-sensei could pull off. Excuse me while I try not to sulk and try to get over the fact that no new chapters are coming next week. |

Wow what a shit post in general. 1) You can't steal copyrights. I assume you were trying to say piracy is stealing which is wrong. 2) That 2nd point was awful. Kishimoto's writing went to shit. Naruto use to be really great then it went to part 2 and kept getting shittier. |

I'm skimming through these comments and finding that most people are having the same reaction as me. I can't believe its over. I seriously can't believe that my childhood anime has ended. This last chapter was too much for me to process. Seems like just yesterday Konoha 7 were taking the chunin exams. But now they're all grown up and kicking ass. Overall this chapter gave me so much feels, the nostalgia hit me hard. Though some of the parings were forced, but I'm satisfied with NaruHina and ShikaTema. *sigh* I take back all those comments I made mocking people who felt depressed after finishing their beloved series. I'm feeling so empty right now :( |

Of all the flaws Naruto has,I admit Naruto very ironically put most romance anime and manga to shame. The pairings. Not perfect though, were actually done right. Kishi should write a romance manga LOL. |

Kishimoto on Romance in Naruto - "I wanted to write about the romances of Naruto and his friends in the manga series, it was too difficult. I am not good at writing romances because I feel embarrassed when trying to do so." Q: If you can go back in time and give your self one piece of advice, what would it be? Kishimoto: That would be something like "Hey, put in more idea's ahead of time that can be expanded on later. Otherwise your going to be in trouble". Something like that (Laughs) Me:hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha(sarcasm) |

Well I generally assume that all these negative comments are made by people who write themselves a pitiful story for life. Kishimoto just wanted to end the story as peaceful as it could be from his point of view. Yet all these fans (majority may be girls since almost all of them talk about pairings) take it as disgraceful way of closing story and blame it to the author I personally think the messages are not in the way he paired up the characters, but how it ends with peaceful konoha and naruto gets what he dreamed for Well a shounen comics author wouldn't know how to make a good romantic endings, that's true, but he's not an shouoju author guys No offense, but is true you know that piracy is wrong |

peaceful hokage-life with many kids. well, not a bad ending for this kind of show but also not a good one. felt kinda strange: for each panel one person after the time skip. was to rushed and forced. only Gaara was kinda cool and Hinata is cute. the rest? whatever … Bolt … stupid name and to many kids … overall Naruto was something new and some parts of it were rly entertaining and some good phylosophical stuff from time to time. some nice tactical fights and some nice charas like Kakashi or Shikamaru or the mytserious Tobi and his skills. bad: to much blingbling near the end, Naruto shining like a Supersayajin and such things, to much annoying Sasuke, Kyuubi >> everything else and some other imbalanced things. less shounen fighting and more conspiracy (there was not a few of this anyway) around the diffrent clans and so on would have been better. whatever. ill rate it 0,72 or so. for roundabout 0,8 it was to week at the end. now other manga, i still have to finish Kenshin and other weekly shounen still are there, „Magi“ and „Fairy Tail“ and of course „One Piece“. |

Read my posts again. They called him a good romance writer. That's fucking hilarious. Kishimoto himself even admitted to being a shit writer and it shows with what he did in the last chapter. |
