| That was insane! Amazing start! The whole thing about he being possessed by a devil and being shown the choice of dying or working with them reminded me of Jujutsu Kaisen, which I love. Although this seems to go even darker. So far I'm happy to see that it lives up to the hype. I'm hooked and I already love Denji! I want to see him thriving! |

| For someone that didn't read the manga, the first episode lets me hope for more. It's about a young adult who's old man killed himself and left him with a huge debt. In order to pay off the debt, he lives in poverty and is hunting devils for the mafia. On one day, the mafia “betrays” him, and he becomes a devil. The animation is, as expected, on a very high level. Denji, the protagonist, has really little wishes in life. It shows in a fascinating how someone in such a miserable position can still feel happiness and hope. Even in his position, he does not wish to die. I am looking forward to my adventure in the world of Chainsaw Man. |

| Props to Mappa man. They make Denji so likable lmao. In the manga, I hated him, maybe it will be different. Like I've said in the past, I enjoyed the beginning of CSM, it's towards the end of part one where I think Fujimoto lost the plot. Anyway, great visuals and a great pilot episode. |
