Yes, it is and you’re braindead for advocating the opposite. It is dumb to give score to a series that you haven’t even watched a single full episode. You can decide whether you want to watch it or not after the first two minutes, but giving ratings after the first few minutes is idiotic. |

TBH I thought it was going to be really bad, but actually it looks like it's going to be really good, just the "realistic" style Anime that I guess a lot of Shonen fanboys can't appreciate. You’re right, I got the same feeling in the introduction, yet I haven’t jumped into conclusions before watching at least a few minutes more and I really liked the rest of the episode. |

| This was one of the weirdest 1st episodes I ever seen. The animation was great! I felt bad for the old guy who had his drinks stolen. Solid start! |

| The CGI was shit. I paused after the first 10 mins and read the manga just to take a peek but ended up reading the first volume. The art is better, hilarious dialogue that was lacking in the anime, and the pacing is better since it doesn’t chop things up. I’m not a fan of the anime art style. Unfortunately there’s only 2 volumes of the official english translation, so I’ll be keeping up with the show. |

| I have very little idea what I just watched and how I got through 20+ minutes of it. The dry, dirty deadpan humor combined with a plot centered around international politics and security affairs is just such an absurd combination?! The meta aspect also feels extremely forced. I don't think this one's for me, but at least I got a few chuckles out the latter half of the episode. |

The spoiler was unnecessary, this was ep 1 but I guess some people needs to say "I'm a source reader" to feel better. Don't worry, I don't care about a spoiler about a series I started on a whim and have 0 attachment. |

| I have no idea what I just watched. So. There's this ninja who apperantly took down some big shot in the past, then became a NEET and now gets the new task to infiltrate a high school. And at some point afterwards he, alongside his teammates, has to fight against an opposing Ninja team which also infiltrates a school? I hope I got the outlines of the plot with that. I really can't say where this is going. The scene of Kurou getting the girl to make the call as his mother was funny. But was it even supposed to be funny? Maybe next week will give me more insight. I hope it has some actual plot and such and won't be another "Essay of a 2nd Grader animated", like Magical Destroyers this spring. |

| Wow, this really got me hook like and sinker in the first episode. The opening scene threw me off a little, but I knew the whole show wouldn’t be CGI like that, it was a cool scene too and the English was actually some of the best I’ve ever heard in anime lol. But afterwards the actual show starts, and I really liked what I saw. Based on all the information we got, I can’t tell if we’re seeing actual ninjas or if this is all make believe but I love the thin line between the two so far. And our MC Kuro has an interesting life looks like, the apartment he lives in has some hidden compartments where he can go between rooms and he has a unique relationship with his neighbor lol, I really enjoyed the entire bit between the two of them. And after seeing that flashback, we went back to the present only to get thrown into another flashback where I’m guessing we get to see Kuro deal with this ninja obsessed foreigner, the history thrown in there was cool too, not sure if it’s all true but it has me interested in looking into it now lol, definitely a part of World War 2 that isn’t focused on a lot. And both the OP and ED were very good, I especially loved the ED song and its visuals, it honestly reminds me of old school anime, perhaps one of my favorites of the season already. I really hate that I had to move this show so far away from the day it actually comes out on but I’ll be here eventually every week because this slapped imo. Edit after reading other posts: wow this thread is kinda disappointing lol, but it’s what expected too. Also surprised some people thought the English was bad in the first scene, I don’t think you’ve heard bad English if you thought that was bad, but it was just one scene after all so it’s not a big deal. |

| Liking it very much. I though this season I wouldn't be able to watch anything interesting. I really have to be careful not to give too much credit to MAL score, because this for me is like an 8.5/10 for now. |

| Well that was terrible. That opening minute alone was enough to make me hate it, and it only got worse as I made it further into the episode. I don't like the OP, the characters, and not a fan of the art style, or whatever plot this might tell in the next couple of episodes. It looks awful. I can't be the only one who thought the MC was an adult right? He looks older than his age, he's' supposed to be 17 💀 The amount of cringe I felt watching this one episode, and I'm not someone who even uses the word 'cringe'. Dropping this one here and not looking back LOL |
