| What Episode 1071 served was just the appetizer. Episode 1072 is the main course! This episode was just phenomenal in terms of animation and Gear 5 Luffy's silly humor. This episode has shown what else Gear 5 can do and the possibilities for extraordinarily crazy attacks are limitless! Gear 5 Luffy is so unpredictable at what he's doing and I love every single second of it! Very nice use of cartoonish sound effects. Gomu Gomu no Jump Rope! You wouldn't imagine anyone actually using dragon Kaido as a jump rope, but here it is, giant Gear 5 Luffy did it with style. xD LOL! When the giant face of Gear 5 Luffy slammed inside the dome, five people were shocked that their eyes popped up from their sockets! It's absolutely hilarious, even the serious Trafalgar Law was affected by all this madness. xD I'm having the time of my life watching Gear 5 Luffy fight, just as how much he's enjoying this battle as his heartbeat resonates. :D Go for it, Luffy! Finish off Kaido once & for all!! |

| Wow this episode was everything that I wanted and more! I was looking forward to some panels from the manga and Toei actually nailed them! 10/10 episode! Also it never really hit me when I was reading the manga but Luffy's G5 fights will look really creative especially compared to the manga. All of his fights will look rad, Cant wait for more Gear 5 and Next week!   |

OHHH MY GOOOOD, the way the played Over the Top over the fantastically animated big Luffy v. Kaidou made it 10x more hype. When I first delved into the adapted chapter, I pondered if Toei could truly do it justice. Lo and behold, this episode surpasses expectations. Tasuku Shimaya directed it with finesse, while Megumi Ishitani orchestrated the storyboarding to perfection. I must say, her storyboards are an art form in themselves, brimming with intricate details. And let's not forget the contributions of other talents like Bahi JD and Tu Yong-ce, among others. My heartfelt appreciation goes out to all those who played a part in creating this masterpiece of an episode. "IM MONKEY D. | I don't understand if people are genuinely enjoying this show or they're just trolling lol. These 2 episodes were, at least for me, very hard to watch, I don't understand why they went to such a cartoon-ish extreme. I've been watching this anime weekly for 10 years now and I feel like I'm too old for this kind of goofy approach. "Peak" of One Piece might be just the most unpleasant episodes of the whole series from my POV. I just can't comprehend how so many people are enjoying it, or are they just biased because they feel they were watching this show for a lifetime and it's just too sad and hard to mentally accept that G5 is too goofy and weird. Overall this is not what I expected to be the peak of an over 1000 episode show. Indeed, the animation, sound, story is amazing, but the goofy G5 is just a lil bit too much for me. |

| I see the vision Oda , I see it. Upon reading it in the manga , although impressed and excited I didn't get the full scope and feel of the "freedom" but here? Yeah it was on full display. I laughed out of pure enjoyment , got hyped all in one and that's basically what makes Luffy great as a character to me , it didn't felt out of place at all. The re-activation of G5 was incredible , my favorite scene in the episode. Can't wait for the ending and how they animate it. |
