| I actually really enjoyed that little fight between Doflamingo and Violet. I don't know why, it just looked good. She doesn't seem like much of a fighter, but I just like her style. Also, Idc what anyone says, I'm 100% sure her and Doffy had a thing going on at some point. She pulled a knife on him! I just remember right at the beginning of the arc when it was said that the women of Dressrosa are very passionate, and pull knives on their lovers when they feel they've been wronged/humiliated. Plus, the way he grabbed her was a little...I dunno. Maybe I'm imagining it, but it seemed like there was something more to the confrontation. If that somehow was the case, well damn...I feel kinda sorry for her lol 0_0 |

| nice 2 minutes passed the entire episode I was also getting strong doujinshi hentai vibes from that Doflamingo scene with Viola and Rebecca. |
| Everyone continues to work together, the hurt boys are led by God Usopp who sways the people to help his friends. Rebecca encourages people to help push. Fujitora, being blind, is able to help pirates ‘without’ knowing who they are, super adorable. With him, the navy helps and so do the people. Many marines can use haki which was a surprise to me. That and Violet fights Doffy, obviously losing but buying more time for Luffy to wake up. Something I was wondering was that, if Doffy could speed up the birdcage, I imagine he could do it again and make it even harder to push but maybe he’s going to do that dastardly thing he said Crocodile had a habit of doing, underestimation. Or he’ll just have no time. I do have to question that claim about Crocodile because Doffy was quite questionable in his plans too, his entire kingdom relying on one girl’s safety, not keeping an eye on the Tontatta, the actual devil fruit being held in the competition. Crocodile went down largely due to sacrifice and luck, when he put people in a cage he gave them a chance to get a fake key. He set up the war to be full of allies on the revolutionaries and the royal armies side. He set up a time bomb so big that if it couldn’t be fired, it was still near impossible to deal with. I would absolutely wager that Crocodile would at the very least have put a fake flare flare fruit in the colosseum battle, using Mr.3’s wax and Goldenweek's painting, there is no doubt in my mind about that one. Anyways, Doflamingo is now making Rebecca kill Violet which got a good laugh out of me. I was sharing in his evil rejoice. Betray the Don Quixote family and he will make sure to execute you in a memorable way. That said, with no one to save Violet unless it takes him 60 seconds to make Rebecca swing, I wonder what will happen. This isn’t the kind of series so quick to do something as bold as that despite how strong of an impression it would make for Doffy. Forcing Rebecca to break her code and kill her relative. That said, I could imagine her awakening conqueror's haki or something and breaking out of the strings, or perhaps slicing Violet but not killing her and thus giving fuel to a very angry Luffy. |
| Despite how impossible stopping the birdcage initially seemed, it's nice to see everyone doing their best to achieve that goal. If they're going to go down, at least they're not going down without a fight! It's rather unfortunate to see Viola and Rebecca in a situation like that. They really shouldn't have had gone to Doflamingo alone like that but it looks like they're certainly buying time since he's enjoying the whole thing a bit too much. |

| I’m glad Fujitora helped. Surprised he can’t do more though. Viola honestly probably had a better chance of slowing down Mingo by flashing him than fighting him. But respect for her trying. With law next to Luffy. I suspect cabbage missing will be key somehow. He might save the two ladies before Luffy jumps in. |
| Once Rebecca being written as a complete hindrance rather than actually being allowed to do anything useful. Goes in talking all big as she even has a chance of killing Doflamingo. Then, not only does she just stand there while Viola takes a beating and doesn't bother stepping in to help...she proceeds to allow herself to get parasyted =_= I get that Doflamingo's Devil Fruit is supposed to be awakened (which clearly sends to absurd levels of 'broken') and Fujitora's Navy group are all holding back enough as he needs Luffy to be the one to finish Doflamingo. However, with so many strong fighters and haki users, it is still ridiculous that they seem to be unable to do anything to the birdcage other than just stop it once which only saved 1 minute. Better writing while keeping the absurdity would've had them being able to damage the cage but it regenerating each time. Also got to love that the moment Zoro shows off his awesome ability to haki-imbue his swords......every damn sword-wielding marine soldier can do it :P |
