| Definitely a good episode, I feel so bad about Liz. She has one hell of a "luck". Tho the ending was kind of obvious, so I felt bad about her the moment she liked Kirito... or probably even earlier on. What's strange about this anime is that you can never predict the next episode. Judging by the time of the first posts in this thread, I have to wait like day or something to see another episode which is great. I've watched all 7 available episodes in one day, something I havent done since I've watched Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, hmm. This anime is pretty decent for now, and I hope it's gonna get even better as episodes passes. |

This anime is pretty decent for now, and I hope it's gonna get even better as episodes passes. My suggestion to you would be to finish up the anime and then read the LN if you like it enough. Although I personally like the anime, I think the LN has a huge advantage in terms of describing the characters and their thoughts in depth, so you'll definitely enjoy all the extra details that the anime couldn't fit in. But if you read the LN first, you might start to hold unrealistic expectations for the anime and it will ruin the experience for you \>_>/ The reason that the anime seems so chaotic and unpredictable right now is that it's been trying to animate the side stories then get to the main story. This Sunday though the series will finally move into the main plot. |

| ok i dont mean to be a downer but sword art online is one of the worst shows i have watched this year. now the first episode was amazing yes but it just spiralled down from there and got so bad that i would just leave the video playing while i would draw. its uninteresting and i hate the whole girl of the week formula it has. seriously kirito is even cool he just wants to be a loner, whats attractive about that. so yea in my honest opinion its all hype no meat. |

I'm curious about her, since it looks like in the OP she is surrounded by static screens or something. And I confused her for Sachi for awhile. But I meant the main story is finally starting. And all the episodes up to now kinda seem like they have been setting up the world and letting us know how the world of SAO works, without just blatantly saying it in the beginning, which I kinda liked. I'm enjoying this anime to no end since I'm a LN fan but the anime just plain suck as a standalone. Most of the novel is developed by description and character's thought which are mostly ignored in the anime. This result in character's action looking incoherent and everything being rushed make any emotional scene look stupid. A LN reader will fill the hole with what he has read but these holes are still holes and anime only watcher will be likely bothered by them. |

| Based sorely on only-anime-viewer, I agree that there are flaws in the anime, and people have the right to express their point on it. If yes, then you would know: not every light novel reader put their faith nor hope on this adaption since there's a lack of details, char development, etc. Even the anime viewer who haven't read the novel can feel it, and they have the right to talk about it. |
