Either Vash is a lot older than he looks or she's younger than she looks because he looks the exact same as when she was 3.

I like how they have a few interesting ideas about what life in a wasteland would be like while developing Vash a bit. Probably not my favourite ep so far (the gunmaker one's too good) but I am really liking the direction this show is going.

Through Vash’s past we learn more about him. Him not remembering that he destroyed the city of July is crazy enough, but the fact that he was the same guy that hugged the girl when she was little makes you wonder if he even ages?

How was he able to destroy a city with a poulation of 1.4 million?
And without killing anyone?

I mean, that's completely unrealistic in itself, but didn't they have any government to do anything for the people?

And what are those gigantic lightbulbs they call "plants" supposed to be anyways?

So he does not remember anything from his past? Or just that incident specifically?

how was he able to overpower that power plant which had the power to access multiple dimensions?
just by extending out his arms?

Oh okay, sorry for the late reply, but I just binged it all and did not open up notifications up until this point.

It is not a plot hole, I will not reveal it to you since it is a spoiler, but Vash has something special about him. Why do you think he was dodging bullets so easily?

Okay, so this was a really important episode. Vash's background unveiled; he has no memory of a period of his life. Tragic. Well, I wonder how he stopped the explosion, really weird.

Wait, she was 3 years old back then? Okay, let's assume he was 18 back then since he already looked like an adult. And she might be 18 now as well, which would mean he's now 33. Certainly doesn't look anywhere that "old".

The story is starting to shape into something of greater meaning, we're actually finally hitting on the darker side of this show. Just how old really Vash is, that girl was 3 when she let him and he was already with the same build as he is in the current day, that's at least a 15 years gap if not 20

I love how nobody is mentioning that Meryl pulled a gun on some children.

This isn't the best episode so far, however, I don't think it's the worst of the bunch. You could see the "twist" coming from a million miles away, but that doesn't matter since it was still enjoyable regardless. An amnesia plot isn't something I'm particularly fond of, but I can excuse it since it makes sense within the context of Vash's character.

I'm glad that this series is well and truly done with people not believing Vash is Vash. That was beginning to get annoying.

There's even more to him than meets the eye, looks like. Behind his cheerful demeanor lies the prowess of an unbeatable outlaw but there's something more mysterious that lies beyond that.

I'm eager to learn more about Vash soon!

now that it's well known that he's vash things starting to be more interesting, i really love how they keep the story level as the action and still letting the psychological level with the theme of justice an evil presented.

also vash's dance were priceless. wonder what he did to the plant and when we will found out about it.

So, is he immortal or something? I mean, he looked the same in the flashback as he looks now.
Thats what I thought too... immortal or at least ageless, combine it with that trick he pulled with the plant and there definitely is more to him than meets the eye... well other than being an invincible outlaw I mean...

yeah was interesting. Wasn't expecting that

Grams: 'Darn tootin'!'

Bwhahaha "Hey, don't you know I'm supersonic sodum the great?"

LOL that guy hitting on Meryl.

Very cool, finally getting some backstory.

It's so sad about July...Yet still, Vash is best boy. His tears are majestic.

Wait so Elizabeth's parent died when she was a child and then she met Vash for the first time as a child, that beg a question how old is Vash exactly

Oh my! Meryl was losing it, they are only kids Meryl! xD

So Vash is clearly special and even with the revelation of him being unable to remember anything about his past, I didn't feel this episode was as strong as the previous ones but it's still a very good.

This is really where I feel like the series seems to truly start. After Hard Puncher there is a pretty big shift in the narrative and atmosphere of the series. I wasn't ever super into this episode, but it's always interesting to see Vash's response to all the hatred slung his way. You can see the melancholy on his face and I just think it's amazing he acknowledges that. It's almost as if his heart breaks every time he tells a distraught victim that he can't die yet. It's very well done.

"...Is your mother worried? Would you like us to assign someone to worry your mother?"

Alright looks we’ve got some insight on Vash’s character, little bit but we managed to get some insight into his past nonetheless. Just how old is Vash in the grand scheme of things if Elizabeth was only 3 when he found her? It’s definitely making me think there. There’s a mysterious streak to the Human Typhoon alright, even though it doesn’t give me much, I really want to know more about Vash’s past, I really do. Probably not as good as the other episodes so far but still pretty good I reckon.

The interesting thing is that Elizabeth is blaming Vash for something that happened to her but he can’t recall what happened. I guess we’ll find out more as the show progresses.
