| I love how they are keeping the Girls want to be heroes, but it isn't so easy, and they aren't taken seriously theme. This time, we even got a normal job, a woman not being taken seriously because of her appearance even though she got a great curriculum. Epic!! let's go woman representation in media |

| Queen's episodes sadly didn't grab me as for character writing, so I hope Loli's episodes will surprise me. So far it's okay, time will show. E-Soul and Lucky Cyan were my favorites so far. |

| That was a nice light-hearted episode. Ghostblade trying to be a good father is so funny for some reason. It's even funnier when he goes straight to the stabby option because he doesn't know what else to do. Poor guy. I love how many nods to nerd / otaku culture the show's producers stuck into this episode. The epic mecha (Gundam), the Doraemon reference – Da Xiong & Pan Hu, whose names are exactly the same as Nobita Nobi and Takeshi Gouda's in Chinese, and the movie posters in Loli's room – out of which I can only make out Rambo; please do let me know if you can tell what the other posters are. Loli's hero persona is clearly based off of otaku culture after all. |

| I love Loli so much!! 😭 she's a character I can relate to so well. I'm a mechanical engineer and being small and thin (called cute a lot too) makes it so hard for people to take me seriously and that's sooo frustrating. Most men think you can't do things alone and even without being mean they are looking down on us just because we look "cute", and women are always acting motherly around us. I can understand the feel of having to cover yourself with some armor so you can achieve people's respect. It might seem like a childish story but actually that's the main idea of this arc, is about her determination and ideals not judging her just because she is cute and small. I love that To be Hero X shows us so many different characters, each of them has their own ideals, some can have tragic backgrounds, some are just hardworking and some just want to prove themselves. The only thing in common is they are all "heroes" of their own people. Such a nice series. |

| Mr.Stark? We really got his successor in donghua. She's cute and has a complex about it. Glad she got more confidence and is now striving to be the best. The other girl put up as many red flags as she could lol. She wasn't kidding about not being able to hold her liquor. Idk why people here are undermining her complex or how 13 episode in are complaining about getting baited into watching this. |

Turns out being cute gets her judged as unfit to be a heroine. Same with the scientist girl relegated to receptionist because society + sexism. Ouch. Felt that one.
On one hand one shouldn't be judged by their appearance. On the other hand, is it really that terrible to look attractive and cute? Sounds like some first world problems.
We're just at the start of this arc and already I'm creeped out by that creepy stalker. I hope it's not DJ who got dumped as a hero for not being able to "stay relevant, or cool."

She literally loses all her hard work in the gym and most of her muscles when losing Trust value due to appearing attractive and cute, my guy. First world problems? wot. She literally cannot achieve her dream of being a hero without changing her outer appearance and the way other people perceive her. This whole episode is trying to break it to people in the most basic way possible. Weird asf comments to see people say she's the "ego hero" or whatever lol We saw how dismissive her dad is too, not at all supportive of her since she had to steal his equipment and learn things on her own. It's only after she proved herself that he considered helping her a tiny bit, probably feeling responsible because he's taking away the equipment and she's his only child afterall. |
| So this hero's problem is being upset that people don't take her seriously because she's too..... cute. Nice. Amazing. It's not bad, but you can tell even without looking at episode ratings that this is probably going to be people's least favourite part of the whole series. I just wanna know who this stalker is, and I guess it is ghost blade, the guy who will be the focus of the next arc. Apparently his story slaps but I hope they explain why bro is stalking one girl but folds when he sees the face of a 'cute' girl even though the girl he was initially stalking is kinda, actually way cuter. Big things like Moon's assassination can wait later when everything (hopefully) comes together, but small things like ghostblade stalking a girl I want answers to NOW. |
